goldfishwars
Team by team at the bottom. Round 1 1. Cincinnati - Joe Burrow [ QB ] LSU Complete no brainer, just pick Joe 2. Washington - Chase Young [ EDGE ] Ohio State Complete no brainer, just pick Chase 3. Detroit - Jeffrey Okudah [ CB ] Ohio State In reality, the Lions should be looking to trade down here – but in the absence of that then Okudah potential to play press-man at a high level is too valuable to Patricia’s scheme to miss out 4. NY Giants - Mekhi Becton [ OT ] Louisville The Giants need tackle help and need to run the ball consistently in order to take the pressure of their new quarterback. Becton is that rare mammoth that would surely get Gettleman’s juices flowing. 5. Miami - Tua Tagovailoa [ QB ] Alabama I think Miami won’t be in the trading up game, so will be a straight choice between Tua and Herbert here who they seem to like. Tua is the more accurate quarterback that has a track record of rising to the occasion, so would get my nod here. 6. LA Chargers - Jedrick Wills [ OT ] Alabama My favorite tackle of the class, I think the Chargers may look to get by in FA or with in-house options at QB this year. Wills has rare explosive gifts at the position and can give LA the stability at the position they’ve craved for years. 7. Carolina - Isaiah Simmons [ LB ] Clemson Again, I don’t think Carolina are going to be high buyers at the QB position in the draft. I think they’ll trade out of this spot and if not take the best athlete available which seems to be Rhule’s MO and that’s Isaiah Simmons. 8. Arizona - Derrick Brown [ IDL ] Auburn Brown has some concerns with his testing, but the tape is so good and he’s so brutally strong that he’s still going to be a valuable commodity in the draft. The Cards could go tackle or receiver here, but Brown fits the bully up the middle they’ve desperately been trying to find. 9. Jacksonville - Javon Kinlaw [ IDL ] South Carolina The Jaguars have a bunch of needs and one of which is rebuilding a defensive front which took them on the brink to a Super Bowl not long ago. Kinlaw is a huge talent with a high ceiling to grow into. 10. Cleveland - Tristan Wirfs [ OT ] Iowa The Browns really can’t mess around when it comes to this tackle class and Wirfs could be a pleasant surprise here if he makes it this far. There’s still a bit of refinement to do with his technique, but he can come in a be a huge boost to the run game right away. 11. NY Jets - Andrew Thomas [ OT ] Georgia The Jets will have the picks of the receivers here, but I think Joe Douglas will see tackle as the more important position and it’s a spot they haven’t been able to nail down since D’Brickashaw Ferguson left town. Thomas is an enormous and powerful talent and could go onto protect Darnold’s blindside for a decade. 12. Las Vegas - CeeDee Lamb [ WR ] Oklahoma The Raiders could go in any direction at the receiver spot here, but my guess is they might prefer the guy with the best overall all-round skill set in Lamb with his ability to make contested catches and run after the catch. 13. Indianapolis - Jordan Love [ QB ] Utah State The Colts could go with Love or Herbert here, but my sense might be they would prefer Love because of what the coaching staff could do to refine his game. He’s got rare arm talent and a knack for playmaking, but the Colts should be confident they have the men in the building to help direct that into better decision-making and less reckless play. 14. Tampa Bay - Justin Herbert [ QB ] Oregon Conversely, I think Tampa might be the best spot for Herbert who fits the physical profile of a Bruce Arians’ passer who should be able to get him out of his habit for the checkdown and quick screens and make use of his physical gifts as a downfield passer. 15. Denver - Henry Ruggs III [ WR ] Alabama Denver already has an exciting emerging receiver in Courtland Sutton who excels in the intermediate arears of the field. Ruggs can come and turn this offense into something far more exciting by adding a vertical element which gives room for everyone to operate in. 16. Atlanta - K'Lavon Chaisson [ EDGE ] LSU I think Atlanta needs to draft an edge player here and might have been in two minds on Chaisson or Espenesa. Either could still play a role here, but Chaisson’s higher athletic upside might give him the nod which is where Dimitroff’s mind wanders over to when selecting defensive players. 17. Dallas - Jerry Jeudy [ WR ] Alabama I think there might be a bit of a shock to see him here, but if Cooper leaves town then Cowboys should leap to the podium and draft his successor from the same alma mater. Jeudy is in a league of his own as a route runner in a talented class and could become an immediate star in the slot. 18. Miami (From Pittsburgh) - C.J. Henderson [ CB ] Florida Henderson has been ‘rising up the boards’ of late after an impressive combine performance. Miami needs help all across the board and are able to take a talented player at a hugely valuable position here. 19. Las Vegas (From Chicago) - Patrick Queen [ LB ] LSU The Raiders need help at linebacker and have their choice between Queen and Murray here. I think the preference might go to the speedier Queen whose championship win might give him the nod, given that’s what Mayock valued highly in last year’s picks. 20. Jacksonville (From LA Rams) - Kenneth Murray [ LB ] Oklahoma The Jaguars second level defense suffered last year in the wake of Telvin Smith’s sudden retirement. Murray has prototypical size and excellent range and would allow Myles Jack to move back to his preferred spot. 21. Philadelphia - Denzel Mims [ WR ] Baylor Mims has also been a riser throughout draft season after a hugely impressive Senior Bowl where he should a nuanced route tree you don’t see on tape and put on a real show at the combine. The Eagles get a player who can stretch the field vertically and play above the rim. 22. Buffalo - A.J. Epenesa [ EDGE ] Iowa Epsenesa’s weird testing has forced people to think of him as more of a scheme specific talent where certain teams will know what to do with him more than others. The Bills will have a vacancy for a power end in their scheme and offers upside as an interior rusher on third and long. 23. New England - Austin Jackson [ OT ] USC As a Pats fan, you come to terms with the fact that the Pats are most likely trading back where they can and this is what I expect here. If they do pick in the first, it’s usually for someone who plays at a premier position. Jackson has some questions around his play strength, but is smart, long and athletic enough to think BB will take a liking to him. Jackson could red shirt whilst the team prepares for Marcus Cannon’s departure a year early. 24. New Orleans - Jalen Reagor [ WR ] TCU The New Orleans passing game ran entirely over the middle last year and they struggled as soon as they came up against a team who knew how to deal with that. Taking Reagor here gives them a speed threat on the outside they’ve tried to inject since Brandin Cooks was traded and there are similarities between the two. 25. Minnesota - Trevon Diggs [ CB ] Alabama Minnesota need to re-up again at corner and might and Trevon would give them the length and athleticism that Zimmer likes in his cornerbacks. Picking Diggs here might also have the added incentive of convincing his brother to stick around. 26. Miami (From Houston) - Josh Jones [ OT ] Houston Miami needs tackle help and Josh Jones would be a good choice for them here. Jones looked a little raw at the Senior Bowl and then came back in a big way with a dominant set of practices. That tells me he’s a quick learner and competitive enough to want to improve. His ability as a pass-blocker will be attractive for a team that could do with major upgrades on the line over the off-season. 27. Seattle - Yetur Gross-Matos [ EDGE ] Penn State I’m not as convinced as others that Gross-Matos is a slam-dunk prospect, but he should certainly be on Seattle’s radar if he’s around at 27 with the help they need at edge. Yetur is raw, but has enticing length and athleticism to grow into a better NFL player than his was at Penn State. 28. Baltimore - Zack Baun [ LB ] Wisconsin The Ravens are facing a number of departures in their defensive room in free agency, so will be looking for versatile solutions to fill those gaps. Baun can help at off-ball linebacker and provide help as a situational pass-rusher with his ability to bend and flex off the edge, or as an additional blitzer in the gaps. A creative defensive co-ordinator like Wink will know how to get the most of out him. 29. Tennessee - Kristian Fulton [ CB ] LSU The Titans might be in the market for a right tackle here if Conklin leaves as expected, but rather than reach on his replacement they might be better off at re-tooling at corner first. Fulton’s physical gifts won’t wow, but he has impeccable technique and went toe to tow with the best SEC receivers without giving an inch. 30. Green Bay - Justin Jefferson [ WR ] LSU Matt LaFluer needs a slot receiver who can separate easily and the smarts to handle choice routes in his system. That might lead Green Bay to Justin Jefferson here who has the size and athleticism to play inside and out. He also comes into the league with far more polish than the receivers taken more recently by Green Bay, with very mixed results. 31. San Francisco - Xavier McKinney [ S ] Alabama With Jimmy Ward likely to be leaving in free agency, the 49ers might have trouble finding a replacement that can match his play with few picks in the draft. McKinney has a similar skill set to Ward, with versatility to man both safety spots and his ability to make plays on the ball. 32. Kansas City - Jeff Gladney [ CB ] TCU A lot of mocks peg a running back to the Chiefs here, but I think the more valuable route is to take a corner where they have been able to get by, but barely at times. Gladney is feisty, quick footed and athletic enough to be an attractive option in KC’s defensive scheme which will appreciate his competitive nature. Round 2 33. Cincinnati - Prince Tega Wanogho [ OT ] Auburn 34. Indianapolis (From Washington) - Laviska Shenault Jr. [ WR ] Colorado 35. Detroit - Joshua Uche [ EDGE ] Michigan 36. NY Giants - Grant Delpit [ S ] LSU 37. LA Chargers - Jacob Eason [ QB ] Washington 38. Carolina - A.J. Terrell [ CB ] Clemson 39. Miami - D'Andre Swift [ RB ] Georgia 40. Arizona - Lucas Niang [ OT ] TCU 41. Cleveland - Kyle Duggar [ S ] Lenoir-Rhyne 42. Jacksonville - Jaylon Johnson [ CB ] Utah 43. Chicago (From Las Vegas) - Cole Kmet [ TE ] Notre Dame 44. Indianapolis - Ross Blacklock [ IDL ] TCU 45. Tampa Bay - Terrell Lewis [ EDGE ] Alabama 46. Denver - Isaiah Wilson [ OT ] Georgia 47. Atlanta - Justin Madubuike [ IDL ] Texas A&M 48. NY Jets - Tee Higgins [ WR ] Clemson 49. Pittsburgh - Lloyd Cushenberry III [ IOL ] LSU 50. Chicago - Antoine Winfield Jr [ S ] Minnesota 51. Dallas - Damon Arnette [ CB ] Ohio State 52. LA Rams - Cesar Ruiz [ IOL ] Michigan 53. Philadelphia - Jeremy Chinn [ S ] Southern Illinois 54. Buffalo - Brandon Aiyuk [ WR ] Arizona State 55. Minnesota - Neville Gallimore [ IDL ] Oklahoma 59. Seattle - Tyler Biadasz [ IOL ] Wisconsin 60. Baltimore - Netane Muti [ IOL ] Fresno State 61. Tennessee - Curtis Weaver [ EDGE ] Boise State 62. Green Bay - Adam Trautman [ TE ] Dayton 63. Kansas City (From San Francisco) - Cam Akers [ RB ] Florida State 64. Seattle (From Kansas City) - Ezra Cleveland [ OT ] Boise State Round 3 65. .Buzz
Looks good. Hits on most of our needs, although it sounds like they're making LT a priority at some point.

Wyld Stallyns
Colts and Dolphins exchanged picks in a trade for C /G Evan Boehm Colts get 6th round pick #197 (198 in yours because of counting the forfeit) Dolphins get 7th round pick # 227 (228)

For me, as long as the first rounder is Love/Herbert, Brown/Kinlaw, Jeudy/Lamb I’m good
MrOaktown_56
Not a huge Hurts fan, but I'll make you the GM after reading through this ******* draft. Hamler in the 3rd, what an absolute coup to pair with Lamb. AND Patrick queen? And Robertson? A++++.
Ozzy
Oddly enough I have the same thing happening in my latest 7 round mock, even though I do feel RBs are worth a 1st round pick it might not happen based on certain team needs. With the lack of high level OTs, pass rushers and corners potentially I could see tons of teams 1st round passing on RBs in the thought they can get one of the many good ones in the 2nd or 3rd round. I could see three RBs becoming Pro bowlers regardless though, it is a great class just sad that they could all fall out of the 1st round.
ninjapirate
Philadelphia21. Denzel Mims [ WR ] Baylor53. Jeremy Chinn [ S ] Southern Illinois85. Cameron Dantzler [ CB ] Mississippi State103. Logan Wilson [ LB ] Wymoning127. Ben Bredeson [ IOL ] Michigan145. Alton Robinson [ EDGE ] Syracuse146. Essang Bassey [ CB ] Wake Forest167. Anthony Gordon [ QB ] Washington State169. Isaiah Hodgins [ WR ] Oklahoma State191. Francis Bernard [ LB ] Utah Mims is a pretty common pick among us eagles fans. Chinn is an interesting guy. Not sure why the eagles will need a slow corner that excels in a coverage the eagles never run. never heard of logan wilson before the eagles met with him like 2 days ago i mean they do draft guys they meet usually so yeah. Pretty solid overall just not very exciting.
EagleBlueDon
Honestly the Dantzler pick ruins the Eagles mock for me. I like Mims, Chinn, and Wilson, but not enough to offset the monstrosity of Dantzler. Rest of the picks are meh to don't like. Appreciate your work though 💪💪💪

Denver - Jerry Jeudy [ WR ] Alabama - Ruggs has the speed but Jeudy is the superior WR, better route-runner and will still make DEN's WR corp the best in the AFC. We can also pick up more speed later in the draft. Round 2 46. Denver - Cesar Ruiz [ IOL ] Michigan - Denver needs IOL help more than T help, we expect JuWann James back and Bolles played much better with mobile Drew Lock in the lineup. Ruiz can replace Leary and/or move/replace McGovern with his versatility. Also like his mean streak and size. Round 3 77. Denver - Jordan Elliott [ IDL ] Missouri - Shelby Harris and Derek Wolfe may both leave in free agency so Elliott fills a desperate need. 83. Denver (From Pittsburgh) - K.J. Hamler [ WR ] Penn State - Here's the speed we need at WR, increases the talent level even more 95. Denver (From San Francisco) - Logan Wilson [ LB ] Wyoming - A coverage LBer to help with TE coverage, will eventually replace Todd Davis Round 4 118. Denver - Antonio Gibson [ RB ] Memphis - Denver traded #137 not this pick, just an FYI. Gibson has the size and speed to compliment Phillip Lindsey plus adds versatility as he can also play WR. At 6-0, 228lbs and runs a 4.39 40 just the type of player to add to combat KC's speed advantage. Round 5159. Denver - Davion Taylor [ S ] Colorado - A projected trade, Denver scouts see the potential and can utilize his speed as an eventual replavement for Kareem Jackson. Ran a 4.39 at his Pro Day and hits like a LB with coverage skills. Will look great pairing with Justin Simmon. ** Denver trades #179, # 253 and 2021 6th Round 6 182. Denver (From Washiington) - Alex Taylor [ OT ] South Carolina State - Here's Bolles potential replacement, Munchek could make this guy special Round 7 238. Denver (From New England) - Lavert Hill [ CB ] Michigan - Denver needs more depth at CB and Hill (who I didn't see in your draft) fits the bill255. Denver (Compensatory Pick) - Braden Mann [ P ] Texas A&M - Best punter in the draft and Denver needs a punter, Mann will thrive in the thin air in Denver Here's what I see for Denver if it plays like you say it flows. Blacklock is just the type of penetrating 3T that Ballard would covet. Hopkins is an ideal complement to Jack Doyle. I have not watched any of the rest past Hopkins, but spending the next 2 picks on OL depth is great as well. INbengalfan
Great first four rounds. Don't disagree with the rest, but I feel like CB is going to get picked, as well as a safety. Personally, I'd go with JR Reed, Thaddeus Moss or Van Jefferson in the fifth, AJ Green in the 7th to replace Dennard (who looks to be leaving) and a player at S?TE (whichever we pass on in the fifth) in the 6th round. I know we won't be looking DT, unless a huge value presents itself when we are on the clock. We have plenty of DT depth (Atkins, Wren, Glascow, with Billings be a 50/50 to re-sign, and Tupou a RFA).
Bobby816
Not bad at all. Only gripe would be that the Jets need more than 1 WR in the draft. Crowder is our only NFL caliber WR under contract. So just adding Tee Higgins there isn’t enough
