J-ALL-DAY
I wouldn't say Durant is clearly the superior player. It's close, but he's probably a bit better.

I think if you make the best team possible from the current players in the league and put them against the Warriors, they still win a game or two. Giannis, Bron, Kawhi, PG13, CP3 You think they would win a game against them?
J-ALL-DAY
Yeah, their chemistry would get them a game. Warriors starters regardless of which five you come up with will hold their own. They just obviously won't be as deep as the all superstar team.

The Warriors wouldn't win a best of seven series, but they would take at least one game. They all fit perfectly together and are an elite offensive and defensive team. A lot of adjusting will have to happen with whatever five you come up with. How are international teams with FAR less talent able to compete with Team USA? Because they have great chemistry and everyone knows their role. Warriors have that plus elite talent themselves.
BAConrad
Idk how people think he's a bad fit. We needed a great or borderline elite shooter and we just got one. PG happens to be a terrific catch and shoot player, and Melo will create way more spacing. Russ can run the PnR with Melo....or he can drive to the hole and kick it out if he's being double teamed....or drive and score like the animal he is because he finally has teammates who will take a lot of attention away from him. For people saying Melo isn't gonna want to be the third option....you need to either look at this closely or just go get some more smarts. He didn't have to go to OKC. We weren't the only team going for him. But he waived his no trade clause to come here. everything he's said lately makes me think he is ready to be on a team that won't need him to score 30 a night. Olympic Melo is coming people. Just start trying to get used to the idea of it..because it's gonna happen. And now we can play Roberson with PG without worrying about spacing. Those two are gonna give teams fits on defense. And while they do that, Russ will be putting up 30 12 and 10 a night and Melo will be scoring 20 while shooting 48% from downtown. GSis the best team. obviously but if anyone can beat them or give them a real challenge, it's now us. One more thing..... Presti turned Oladipo and Kanters awful contracts, effing Doug McDermott, Sabonis, and a 2nd round pick into PG and Melo. Lmao. Come at us bro.
