I've never been a Doc fan. Huge underachiever with the talent he's had IMO.

but... the celtics starting 5 never lost a series *sniff* *sniff*

he's poo, has he ever had a signature offense? i can't tell you a single notable coaching trait by doc. cool, he had kg make guys cry enough and then they played well

Asa GM and even with the Clippers team last year, he’s top 5 (though Jerry West presence helps). Once he has championship or bust expectations, it’s always unnecessary turbulence. Now you might lose to a Nuggets team that would get throughly outclassed by the Lakers.

If they lose game 7, his tenure might not be a colossal failure, but the closest thing to a colossal failure without being a colossal failure.

There were a couple years where he got unlucky with injuries, but I suppose it could actually be lucky if they were just going to bomb out again in disappointing fashion.

He's a not a bad coach for less talented teams, but he's not good enough to get the most out of great teams, but for whatever reasons gets respect of a Phil Jackson.

Because his greatest strength is meshing personalities and in the locker room. Don't think much of him on the court

Least Phil had that and you know, an entire basketball philosophy

harrell is pretty terrible

that is a surprise

The depth of the team isn’t as good as everyone has said. I always felt that was obvious. Like am I really supposed to be scared of Lou in a playoff series? Green? Morris? Shamet? No. I’m pumped if those guys are taking shots.
