2020 Season so far:

Tom Brady 36 Passing TDs

Cam Newton 5 Passing TDs

Welp...

Granted Cam's supporting cast is much worse than Tom's...but then again Brady had to deal with this crew the past couple seasons too. Looking back now,  Tom's 2018 and 2019 season actually look amazing considering what we're seeing from the Pats. Disappointed in the Pats and BB but happy for Tom. Hopefully BB can stick around a few more years and show us he's still the greatest HC of all time (he is); feel like Tom outclassing him this season will light a fire under Bill. Lets get that franchise QB next year and get the Pats second dynasty started.

Bucs made the playoffs for the first time since 07.

Pats missed the playoffs for the first time since 08.

could've broken every single passing game record today but the NFL sucks and no one cares about records besides us I guess. oh well. bet sean payton wouldn't have set anyone until the end of the 4th like the stat padder he is.

Yeah I wanted 7 TDs. Oh well.

People like Shannon Sharpe and those on air personalities can keep hating but 15-24 for 505 and 6 TDs since week 11 is just remarkable. He's essentially been the best deep ball passer in the league since week 11 if those were Mahomes or Russ's numbers the media would be going crazy right now. He's been incredible with the deep ball apart from that little stretch from week 8-11. But you see the greats when there having a rough patch they work on there weaknesses and Tom Brady's the greatest there's ever been the fact that he turned it around from that horrible 3-4 week stretch he had just exemplifies his hard work and dedication. People can continue to write off Brady in the playoffs all they want but the facts are he's 30-11 in the playoffs he's played 2+ seasons worth of playoff football he's going to be more focused, more calm, and have better weapons than your QB so watch out!

Brady's 3rd and 4th options are the best TE in NFL history and possibly the best WR of the past decade.

That's kind of crazy.

His 5th and 6th options (Miller and Brate) would probably have been his 2nd and 3rd options on the 2019 Patriots.

If my team were in the playoffs I would want no part of Tampa in any circumstance.

We could even get a best ever playoff QB vs worst ever playoff QB matchup if Dallas wins the East.

There have been way worse QBs in playoffs than Andy Dalton.... Connor Cook, and Skelton.

And Joe Webb too, my god he was bad.

Please do not compare Brady and Goff. Brady is one of the best QB’s under pressure in history. Probably ever actually.

Absolutely.

Not this year, but it was a big part of his makeup in previous years;

2019 - "Brady may not be quite as good in 2018 as he has been in recent years, but he remains excellent under pressure. He has the highest percentage of air yards while under pressure in the NFL, delivering the ball to receivers deep down the field, not just dumping it off to checkdowns to escape that heat."

2016 - "What’s been most impressive is that these plays are providing chunks of yardage, with Brady averaging 10.1 yards per attempt. His passer rating of 115.6 under pressure is over 20 points higher than the next competitor. Owning the game’s best pocket instincts, Brady consistently feels pressure and creates space to reset his feet and throw on balance better than anyone."

2017

So Tom had a passer rating of 96 under pressure, Goff's season rating is 90 right now. Apples and oranges

We have 2 more data points this year.

We all knew that Brady was 5 games better than Matt Cassel

We now know that he is 3 or 4 games better than Jameis and 5 or 6 games better than Stidham and a forward pass challenged dude in a series of pretty hats.

There are only 16 games in a season.

In baseball terms his WAR would be like a combo of Mike Trout, Babe Ruth, and your MLB: The Show MVP with 110 home runs and 310 RBIs.
