Bill O'Brien is doing his coaching show/press conference:

- Thanked the McNair family

- Thanked Texas Children's Hospital for the work they've done with his disabled son, Jack.

- Said he's proud of what he did, but is disappointed that he didn't win a Super Bowl, but believes someone will one day.

- Says he wants to coach again very soon.

- Every decision made was with team in mind.

- John McClain asked how surprised he was when he got the news: He respected the decision, says "that's the business". Said he and Cal had a nice discussion.

- Greg Bailey: What didn't quite happen with this team? BoB: I don't make excuses, we just didn't do enough. Players played hard, but didn't get it done. That's on the HC.

- Sarah: Did you want to be GM? BoB: Don't want to get into. Did we make mistakes with decisions? Yes. (Hopkins admission?)

- Randy: Leaving as better coach/leader? BoB: yes, learned a lot about himself. Experience is the best teacher. You appreciate everyone with you.

Please take Nick Caserio and Josh McDaniels off the Patriots hands, Jack. Thank you.

No..... McDaniels is awesome. Patriots fans who complain about him are like the Princess and Pea. Ignore the abundance of good because of the minutia of imperfection
