Thats opening a new can of worms that leads to another rational solution but my point remains. We’ll see how this progresses in the upcoming years. But you had to really really like Okudah to make that choice. Is he the best CB prospect since Shawn Spriggs? No.

But, again, why does that matter? You compare him against the other players in his draft class, not against all CBs drafted in NFL history. If he's the best player available, you take him.

Not necessarily. You can gain value with other choices, and any time you take non QBs that high and there’s expectation and scrutiny if it doesn’t meet expectations. Would you say a team made a great selection if they took Quinton Nelson or an interior OL top 3? Generally regardless of prospect that pick would get criticized.

I mean, "scrutiny" from talking heads and internet managers isn't really scrutiny. If a player is the BPA, you don't worry about the internet managers and you don't worry about the history of players at that position. You take that player.

If Nelson was the clear-cut BPA at 3: sure. It's extremely unlikely that such a situation would happen, but it wouldn't be the wrong pick.

When the Texans scored the TD that made it 40-17, Jim Nantz announced that they had "silenced the crowd."

There actually was no crowd.

They made a bunch of jokes to that nature. We don’t like commentators and think they should be replaced by fan noises but it was definitely some humor mixed in consistently between him and Romo.

... or, they thought he was the BPA. It's not "this CB is the BPA, but one hasn't been drafted this high since 1977, so we can't do it". That doesn't make sense.

I'm an Ohio State fan and I'm typically pretty hard on OSU players coming out since they play with so much talent.

Okudah will be a stud. He was only picked one spot higher than the Browns picked Denzel Ward, and I think Okudah will be better than him

Read something interesting about Belicheck and why his coaches fail. Bill may be tough as hell on the field and expects a lot, but he builds good relationships with his players as well. It’s what Mike Vrabel is like too.

Patricia is just an a-hole 24/7 and players get tired of that. BOB and Josh Mcdaniels were the same way.

Out of respectful curiosity, can you back this up with anything?

Which part? Patricia being an a-hole or players not liking an a-hole?

Do you seriously want this clown as your HC? If so, you’re getting what you deserve with this loser.
