That hotseat should be a funeral pyre by now. The idea was that the Lions were already a pretty good team, but they needed a coach who would push them over the top. It's debatable whether Patricia lost the team from the start by pushing them too hard, or he inherited some guys who were pretty much satisfied with mediocrity and didn't want to put in the work to get better.
