Never understood the the Brett Farve comparison. Farve throws way more interceptions than Josh Allen has thrown.

Over his 19 years as a starter Farve has thrown for fewer than 13 INTs once in his career. Josh Allen has done that in all 3 years of his career. Had 10 this year and 9 last year in his first 2 years as a full time starter.

Josh Allen isnt near the risk taker Brett Farve was...

I wasnt comparing them as risk takers. Rather the rocket arm. Allen throws as hard as Fargo did.

Good point.

Mahomes = Staubach

Eli = Bradshaw

Allen = Elway

Mayfield has a lil Favre in his playstyle

Big Ben could be Bledsoe in the fact that they are both huge statues with capable arms.

A stretch due to injuries, but Brees and Pennington had a lot in common.

I didn't realize Drew Bledsoe and Big Ben were the same height!

It's hard to compare QB stats across era's. If you are straight comparing stats, then pretty much every QB (even the HOF's) before about the year 2004 would be considered below average QB's, which clearly wouldn't be the case. For instance, John Elway only had a greater than 2-1 TD-INT ratio 3 times in his career and never threw for over 30 TD's in a season, and only over 4,000 once. Even elite guys back then rarely put up numbers that would be equivalent to what the middle of the road guys put up in today's game.

Baker - Flutie?

Weird one. Mayfield is closer to Mahomes' height than Flutie's. I'm guessing that is 100% of what you were comparing.

Flutie was a superior athlete, would be a better comparison to Manziel if he would have been anything in the NFL.

I don't really know who to compare Baker with, I'm leaning towards Jim Kelly though. Both have/had strong arms and worked best with an uptempo offense. Kelly had a little more size, Baker a little more mobility. Both could zip the football through bad conditions.

No one is lol. Favre threw 20+ picks 6 times. 3 of those didn't even lead the league! You literally would not allowed to do that consistently in today's offenses.

Some of these are pretty good. Some are pretty funny. A few are way off though. Brady - Tarkenton?! Tarkenton was very mobile. Tom is painfully slow. Mahomes - Kelly? Wilson - Montana? Cam - Namath? Way off lol.
