I don't think anyone needs to see Burrow production from Rattler. We'd prefer that 1) He doesn't get benched...again, and 2) That he doesn't get greatly outperformed by his backup.

Tom Brady was benched a ton while he was at Michigan for Drew Henson and things turned out ok for him. So possibly this might help Spencer Rattler, but fact is he has a crazy talented throwing arm, sure Caleb is a better runner and that works great in college but Rattler has way more arm talent but ultimately who moves the football and leads the team to touchdowns will get the playing time this year.  Will see if Rattler can improve his play and earn his job back or not.

Will Levis did very well this weekend.  Strong armed gunslinger.

He is strong as can be, Tebow type strength in terms of a power running QB, was a beast when he was on Penn State as well.  Not sure I would call him a gunslinger though.  His passing is some what limited but with another season could become something maybe, not a very natural passer though but Kentucky opening up the offense a bit this year with a slightly new system has helped.  Still is impressive he took Gatewood's spot, a very talented player that was poised to be the starter at Kentucky, once he lost his job to Levis he transferred to UCF to get back with Malzahn who had him at Auburn originally after he transferred out of there.

If you are using Tom Brady as an example you're probably reaching hard.

Having a QB get benched is not always a bad thing, same can be said if they are injured and have to watch for awhile or have the game potentially taken away from them for whatever reason for a bit of time.

Adversity is not exactly a bad thing and will see how Rattler deals with it, should be a cause for growth in him as a player.

After Trevor Lawrence the next 5 QBs drafted last year all had a bit of adversity to deal with.  Zach Wilson had to deal with coming back off of a rough injury and worked on taking care of the football better. Trey Lance had to deal with being underrecruited by his home state and having to play at the FCS level not to mention not being able to play a season last year outside of one game.  Justin Fields clearly transferred out of Georgia to Ohio State after being mostly used as just a runner on Georgia, Mac Jones sat on the bench for three years, some starting experience late that RS SOPH year, did not transfer and waited his turn which was quite a long wait.  Then Kyle Trask only got the job after the starter got hurt, and if that never happened who knows if he would have got a chance...

If Kenny Pickett had a stronger arm, I'd like him, but looks like he has Jalen hurts level arm strength.

Jalen Hurts arm strength isn't that bad he drops some dimes. I think it's more so his slow reads cause he won't see guys until it's a second too late and the DB catches up.
