No, Mac Jones hasn’t played anywhere close to as well as Heinecke. This is silly. And I’m one of the ones rooting for Mac to do great.

Don't really get your take here tbh

There's not a lot of daylight between the two statistically and the bulk of Heinecke's production came against the 26th and 28th ranked defenses in the league

Both of them have one bad start, against a really tough New Orleans defense, although Mac was better

Heinecke has Terry Mclaurin and Mac doesn't

This post was before the Saints game. Heinecke sucked badly in that game.

Despite how disappointing Colts have been Wentz has been one of the few bright spots. He’s currently 15th in passer rating and yards. Many had him close to last in rankings.

I would rank him about 20th right now with potential to rise.

For me it's also about how long. Dak has to maintain for at least a season first.

Outside of a 10 game stretch at then end of 2017/start of 2018 Dak has consistently been a top 5-7 statistical QB for 6 years. How much more do you need to see?

For the last 3 years he has led the cumulative #1 offense in the NFL. Not Brady. Not Mahomes. Not Jackson. Its been Dak. And he has done this with his WRs being top 3 in the NFL for drops!!

He's done it with gaudy bulk stats (2020), gaudy efficiency stats (2016, 2021). He is near the tops in 4th quarter comebacks/GWDs since he entered the league. He's had years leading the league in deep ball passing (2018), multiple years being top 10 in completion %, etc. He has had his OC changed, his entire WR corps changed, none of it matters.

Statistically if you compare him and Brady the last 25-50 games, Dak wins in almost every individual category.

There is literally nothing to prove whatsoever. Which makes it even more funny when people like Herbert are put over him.
