Man if you were to make a list of top players drafted in the 2010s that didn't live up to their potential, for whatever reason, there is no way you could leave this dude off of it.

This so much. He's never been more than a solid LB when he had the tools to be on par with Urlacher/Lewis.

It's weird, he's always been good for us. Unless that's something Bill is doing, of course

A swiss army knife type talent that can line up at any LB spot and still be out of position.

Let's be cereal though, you can say this about 51 other guys on those Cleveland teams back then - only one who wasn't was Joe Thomas, IIRC.

That’s not fair to all the players on the bench, guys that were in the best position to maximize their skill set.

Of course he is.

Now he's going to play lights out, become a coveted FA, sign on with another NE modeled franchise (Miami, Houston - looking at you) mail it in, get cut in 2023, sign with New England, play lights out...

Set your clocks to it, it's uncanny how predictable this is getting.

He reminds me of Josh Gordon, low effort, low desire, incredible talent, size and speed. Both of their speed is fading.

(It’s fair to the guys on the bench. They all should have been selling insurance or something instead)
