Terrible season so far, but it's not over. Regardless how the rest of the season plays out, it would be nice to at least get one win over the Rams. At the very least asking the squad to show up at home no matter the opponent isn't too tall an order from a fan such as myself. Especially for a team with a decent amount of so called "talent" on the roster. Coaches and players need to get their heads out of their *** and simply do better. RT Mike McGlinchey is out for the season, which is a huge blow. As much as people get on his case, he's a decent player at best, average at worst. Against the Cardinals Tom Compton came in and immediately got trick-slapped. Don't know if rookie Jaylon Moore will play in his place, but it couldn't hurt. Also rookie cornerbacks  Deommodore Lenoir and Ambry Thomas will at least be in uniform against the Rams with Dre Kirkpatrick out, and Josh Norman questionable. The secondary has been unremarkable to be kind, and maybe it's nearing that time to get the young bucks some action. Trey Lance won't start with Jimmy playing well the last two weeks, but I won't be surprised to see him come in if the game is out of hand, and starting against the Jaguars the following week. Anyway, still looking forward to the game. :)

This game is important for both Kyle and McVay.

For Kyle he only has two more saving graces. 1) He has owned McVay over the last two seasons. If he loses especially by double digits in primetime then you can take all of what he did over the past two seasons against McVay away. 2) The development of Lance. If Lance isnt looking so good by the end of next season I think both Kyle and the GM Lynch jobs could be in jeopardy come the following offseason.

For McVay, he went and got Stafford for games like this. I think both games in particular the last meeting of last season is where McVay said enough is enough of the Goff experience. The Rams shouldve at least split with the Niners last season if not flat out swept them but Goff really wet the bed. Now I thought the first meeting you could blame it on a multitude of things but the second meeting it was Goff. McVay went and got Stafford bc he knows Stafford will get the job done. Heck he took Stafford away from the Niners. The Niners were going after Stafford too and as a result the Niners settled for trading up to get Lance. Again we will see how that pans out long term but as of now McVay have to win this game tonight to continue to justify him getting Stafford.

I do think the Rams win this game. Its shocking the Niners last won at home in the 2019 NFCCG. Meanwhile the Rams currently are undefeated on the road this season and since McVay became head coach the Rams have been one of the best if not the best road teams in the NFL. They also love playing on MNF. I think they have only lost one time under McVay on MNF and that was 2019 at home against the Ravens. The Rams also are great after a loss too under McVay. In general I think all of that will lead to again the Rams winning this game. I think OBJ has a Cam type of game tonight where he gets definitely one td MAYBE two. If Von plays I can see him getting a sack tonight. I think the Rams continue what the Cowboys and Bills did yesterday in looking impressive in their bounce back week. Im not saying the Rams will win by 3-4 tds but I can see a double digit win by the Rams. They know they have to keep up with the Cards who not only lost but are looking vulnerable due to injuries. So I think the Rams head into their BYE feeling good knowing they have the Packers in Green Bay which will be a huge game for them that if things break right could propel them to not just to top of the NFCW but the top of the NFC after Week 12.
