Abreu is gonna get traded at some point, Moncada's strikeout rate likely limits his ceiling early on, and the rest of that roster is AWFUL. As long as women wear flats around him and get into an open clearing they should be able to escape.

The Garcias are decent, maayyyybe Tim Anderson doesn't suck, there's always the possibility that Rodon figures it out...

flyguy1609
MLB.com's Jon Morosi reports that Logan Morrison has agreed to terms with the Twins on a one-year, $6.5 million contract with a vesting option for 2019. Morosi hears the contract could be worth as much as $16.5 million over two years, and ESPN's Jerry Crasnick says Morrison has a "reasonable chance" at maxing out the deal. Morrison no doubt had eyes on a bigger contract after he batted .246/.353/.516 with a career-high 38 home runs in 2017 with the Rays, but he never gained much traction in the slow offseason market. He should be the Twins' main designated hitter and can also fill in at first base.

This one looks ridiculously team-friendly based on LoMo's 2017, but he's been injured and inconsistent his entire career. That's a fair deal for him, IMO. EDIT: This is based on the 2/$16.5 figure, which it appears he can reach quite easily.

tom cody
Good pickup for the Twins with Logan Morrison. A pickup like that should get them a wildcard spot again or at least keep them as contenders.
