While I agree with that MVP, just another long list of QB’s that get figured out after a dominant season.  Newton, etc.

By “figured out” I don’t mean he sucks now, but anyone who puts him remotely close to Top 5 is smoking some crack, some good crack. Anywhere from 9-14 at this point, and 9 might be generous.

If you put Lamar behind an excellent offensive line and adds some dynamic RBs in the backfield, he can easily win more MVPs. His upside still makes him a potential top 5 QB.

The problem with the offense now is the RBs are really slow at all and the offensive line isn't very good.

What outside observers think of as being "figured out" simply miss the severe deterioration of OL since 2019, and severe RB injuries in 2021.

Browns would be winning with Keenum tbh.

Receivers still wouldn't be getting open though.

Besides the fumble and Baker freaking out from getting pressured a couple of times, we're not really losing because of him. But I do agree Keenum should be in just because Baker playing hurt isn't helping anyone.

This, nobody “figured out” how to contain a durable 4.2 QB. He’s just making awful, unforced, decisions tonight. Not sure he’s ever in MVP convo again, but absolutely could lead a great offense again if they can get the OL to what it was and become a smash mouth team. Like 95% of QBs, he’s a product of his supporting cast and coaching.

Excellent O-lines make mediocre QBs look good.

Lamar isn't even a mediocre QB lol.

Detroit making the Superbowl next year has a higher likelihood than Lamar winning another MVP
