biggie.
Not going to lie, I was pretty skeptical of Herbert coming out of college due to Oregon's poor history at quarterback. I was still skeptical after his successful rookie season since I didn't see it as sustainable. But after seeing his game winning touchdown against the Steelers and his absolute beauty against the Giants (to me, it's the greatest throw I've ever seen), I'm fully convinced: Herbert is the best quarterback in the league sans Brady and maybe Rodgers and it's honestly not even close. Daniel
He’s definitely the WB I pick if I’m building a team from scratch. None of the other young QBs are even close, except maybe Mahomes.
jrry32
Is Patrick Mahomes not a young QB?
Malfatron
I generally agree on this. If I was picking QBs for this year alone (not even thinking about the future), i would go 1. Brady 2. Rodgers 3. Mahomes 4. Herbert 5. Stafford Now, when you factor in the future, that puts Herbert at number 2 for me, with a definite shot to surpass Mahomes

Soko
Saying it’s not close is way off, even if you’re constricting it to only under 25 years old. Lamar as MVP and Kyler have earned that respect, at least.

Not sure he is quite there yet, but he is elite for sure

AFlaccoSeagulls
The question about Mahomes brings up an interesting topic: At what point does a QB transition from "young" to "veteran"? Mahomes is definitely teetering that line right now. That being said, Josh Allen and Justin Herbert both have some insane arm talent, along with Mahomes. Just absolute rifles.
