Time to retire this narrative. You can have a serious playoff run with the Jimmy Garopolos of this world.

Moving on from Rodgers and his super buddies club will allow for an already deep core to become even more deep.

We're a contender if Love is Jimmy G level competent.

Love is Uncle Rico level competent.

Absolutely no indication Love is at or near that level yet.  It's not a high bar I know but Love will have growing pains.  He's not plug and play.  If Adams and MVS leave, he has Lazard and St Brown as a first year starting QB.  It will take time.

Nobody seriously believes we'd field Lazard and ESB as our top 2 WRs though...

So the point is mute.

This roster isn't nearly as talented as the Niners.

Crazy that Favre had to get through a really great Dallas team in his early years.  Rodgers has had Seattle mini run, then a random team that pops up each year.

The 49ers are responsible for 40 percent of the playoff losses under Rodgers. The funny thing is that the losses to the 49ers were both very similar and very different.

SF x 4, ARI x 2, NYG x 1, ATL x 1, SEA x 1, TAM x 1.

SF with different starting QB, HC and core players vs Dallas that was winning 3 of 4 titles

I wouldn't even say the 49ers team is overly talented.  They just have more talent in the front 7.

Their skill position players are far more versatile. Deebo, Aiyuk and Kittle can do more than any guy we got not named Adams. Going into the playoffs with a 37 year old Lewis as our best TE is just unacceptable and we have no true deep threat on the roster outside of MVS. Don't know why we never gave any serious consideration to signing Desean Jackson or OBJ mid-season.

The Packers invested more into the TE position under Gute then what was used to draft George Kittle.  The Packers tried to sign OBJ, but he wanted to play for the Rams.  And exactly what did DeSean Jackson do for the Raiders?

If you switch rosters, Shanahan would have won yesterday's game by 2 scores.   MLF choked worse than Rodgers, and that isn't easy.

I'm pretty sure it's not LaFleur's decision to throw the ball to a double covered Adams instead of a wide open Lazard or Jones.  There was a *lot* of that last night.  Rodgers wanted to be the hero throwing the ball to Davante and didn't look at anybody else most of the night.

You’re right, because he would have said “oh schit, my QB doesn’t have it” and would have made him start playing within the offense, which wouldn’t have been changed top to bottom for his liking already.
