stl4life07 Posted September 5, 2022 Share Posted September 5, 2022 What’s heartbreaking about this game is LSU had two muff punts and two blocked punts on a night where the defense struggled to stop FSU and the OL couldn’t block FSU. LSU still had a chance to win but you can’t win with special teams being this bad. LSU has to clean that up. But again such heartbreaking to lose in that fashion. UCLA and USC both wore their home uniforms when then played each other in 1983 and started to do it annually in 2008. The NCAA Football Rules Committee changed the rules in 2009 to require teams to wear jerseys of contrasting color instead of specifically saying white to accommodate them.
