*****Best CB Class I've Ever Seen*****

*I have Ringo listed as a S, where he carries a (71) grade, for reference.

80-100 means I think you're an uberstar worthy of a top 5 pick.
75-79 means I think you are a potential all-pro worthy of a top 16 pick.
70-74 means I think you are a pro bowler worthy of a 1st round pick.
65-69 means I think you have the talent to become a starter down the road...2nd-4th round range.

60-64 means I think you're a late draft pick at best.
>60 means I think you suck.

You think there will be 11 pro bowl corners from this draft? 😯

If so, this draft is absolutely loaded at corner.

I think there are certainly 11 dudes that could be. Nothing of their tape suggests to me they can’t be stars for their teams.

Its weird because I hate this draft class as a whole, but it’s insane at CB.

If this is really that deep of a cornerback class and they all hit or come close to their projections on what they could be the league could have paradigm shift in terms of pass offenses versus pass defenses in a few years. Especially since there is only a handful of elite quarterbacks in the league at a time.

Now that Bradberry and Slay are both back, feels unlikely that we'd take Witherspoon or Gonzalez. Gotta start focusing on some of the others now. I was fully convinced Bradberry was gone.

Right now I'm thinking Jalen Carter is a somewhat realistic option. Not sure I'll feel that way in a month, but right now I'm not completely out on the idea that he'll still be there.

Yes I am of the same thought. Like you alluded to, a lot can happen in a month. He could shoot right back up.

Porter in top 15 is too high, for me. Grabby, relies on his ridiculously long arms to get in there which might be more problematic with more accurate NFL throws and better route running WRs. Doesn’t look that fluid.

I think he can be a good player in the NFL but not sure he’s a top 20 talent

Gonzalez, Witherspoon and Smith are standouts, for me. Not overly enamoured with the rest so far. But it is fairly deep, will be nfl starters through the rounds

What about Deonte Banks? Size, speed, athleticism, and good coverage skills coming into the league.

What are the knocks on Christian Gonzalez? Everything about him including size, length, speed, athleticism, comfortable in press man and zone coverage assignments seems to point to him as the #1 corner. Is Witherspoon that much better in coverage ability that he overcomes the size difference with Gonzalez?
