I assume you mean "isn't" going out like that? In which case I agree with you, he'll feel like this is unfinished business try to play next year.

Sucks for Rodgers, really sucks for the Jets who just seem cursed at this point.

Rodgers with Garrett Wilson AND Marvin Harrison Jr to throw to next year???

The real cursed team here is the Cardinals.

It's so strange what he argues for. He should have been encouraging quick drops and timing ball with that OL in front of his old butt. Extending plays stopped working for him with any consistency awhile ago.

Yeah man, the people who claimed this was the ‘best team Rodgers has ever played with’ overlooked that offensive like.

packers put elite pass pro in front of him year after year.

Trent Green getting IR'd in the preseason is similar to this and didn't get a regular season pass.

But the most devastating injury to any team is Brady's ACL. Best QB of all time on the best team (on paper) of all time and he goes down Week 1.

They still won 11 games - think the Jets are doing that?

Confirmed.

The curse is real.  Jets fans, you know the cause - and I'm still surprised Bill Buckner didn't have to die before the Cubs could get back to the World Series: Broadway Joe must be sacrificed in the Wicker Man.  I suggest halftime of the Battle for MetLife, since it's close to Halloween and you can chalk up the obvious murder to being just a Spooky Season festivity.

this is up there with vick in 04? and Brady in 08 as season ending injuries out the gate after hyped off seasons... huge blow

This is worse. With Vick and Brady you presumably still had them in their prime and got to believe you had the rest of their career to offset this setback. Jets are in win now mode, we know what this team is when relying on Wilson, they just gave up a decent amount to get Rodgers and bet their next couple years on him and they lost him out the gate without even being able to see if last seasons down year was an abberation and he’s got an injury that ends this season AND likely hampers next year significantly if he even wants to comeback now. The Jets now have tough questions to face. A potential contending season is ruined, how they move forward is in peril

Is Broadway Joe an Incubus?

Morals of the event:

- NFL, protect your investment. Go grass, not turf.

- NFL, develop your investment. Currently, there is no plan in place to develop backup QB’s. Start an in season program or offseason program/league for this purpose.

- Teams, offensive lineman are important. Getting 39yr old Rodgers without a line is the same as getting a Corvette without full-coverage insurance.

Yeah the OL is not why he got hurt...and the Jets have invested heavily into their OL.

Let's give Aaron some responsibility here as well. His play style resulted in an unnecessary hit that caused the injury unfortunately. He couldn't allow his game to progress how he needed to in order to stay healthy for the Jets.

Eventually the NY fans will get over the shock and sadness and realize Aaron kinda screwed them over himself.
