Anyone who didn't make adjustment's for half a season to basic football concepts clearly offers no value to the team. The players quit in the playoffs, coaches don't come back from that. I think everyone knows Nick coming back is going to end badly in the near future. Edited January 24 by EAGLES3658

Nabbs4u
Eagles sign 20 players to Reserve/Future contracts Jan 22, 2024 at 04:30 PM Quote Owen Boyle The Eagles have signed 20 players to Reserve/Future contracts as they look ahead to the 2024 season. Reserve/Future contracts are given to players who are not on a 53-man roster, preventing them from negotiating and signing with another team. The Eagles have signed the following players: DT Thomas Booker The former fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft spent the entire season on the Eagles' practice squad after signing with the team at the end of August. During his rookie year, Booker recorded 15 tackles, five pressures, and one tackle for loss with the Houston Texans. T Le'Raven Clark The eight-year veteran has played in 65 games (including playoffs) with three teams, including five with the Eagles in the 2021 season. The former third-round draft pick was re-signed by the Eagles before the start of the 2023 season after spending the summer with the Pittsburgh Steelers. WR Shaquan Davis The undrafted free-agent rookie spent this season on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. Davis was a standout receiver at South Carolina State, registering 116 receptions for 2,452 yards and 25 touchdowns over four seasons. DT Noah Elliss The Eagles signed Elliss as an undrafted free agent out of Idaho before the 2022 season. Elliss was not on a roster through the first seven weeks of the season, but was signed to the Eagles' practice squad on October 24. DB Mekhi Garner Garner spent his rookie season on the Eagles' practice squad. The 24-year-old was elevated to the active roster three times during the regular season and once for the playoffs, playing 27 defensive snaps and 45 special teams snaps. DB Mario Goodrich Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Goodrich was elevated from the practice squad once in his rookie season and played in four games in 2023 as a member of the active roster. The former Clemson cornerback played 70 defensive snaps and made five tackles before being waived on October 17, signing with the practice squad two days later. WR Jacob Harris The three-year veteran has played in 17 games with the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Rams selected Harris in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft after registering 49 receptions for 987 yards and nine touchdowns at the University of Central Florida. WR Griffin Hebert Hebert was signed to the Eagles' practice squad on December 28, 2023. In five years at Louisiana Tech, Hebert recorded 99 receptions for 1,532 yards and 14 touchdowns. Hebert also has experience as a tight end and fullback. DE Tarron Jackson Drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Jackson has tallied 17 tackles, nine quarterback pressures, and one sack in 21 career games. The former Coastal Carolina edge rusher spent the 2023 season on the Eagles' practice squad. TE E.J. Jenkins The 6-foot-6 tight end signed with the Eagles' practice squad on November 1, before being released two weeks later. Jenkins was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech by the Jets in 2023, catching three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in the preseason before being waived on August 29. LB Terrell Lewis The 25-year-old was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 30 career games, the University of Alabama product has recorded 40 tackles, six sacks, and one interception. After being released by the Rams on December 15, 2022, Lewis spent time with the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints over the last year. DB Tristin McCollum McCollum made his NFL debut this season with the Eagles after spending last year as an undrafted free agent on the Houston Texans' practice squad. The Sam Houston State graduate was elevated from the practice squad three times in the 2023 regular season, playing 29 defensive snaps and making six tackles while playing a big role on special teams. He also played in the Wild Card Round matchup against the Buccaneers. DB Tiawan Mullen The undrafted free agent out of Indiana University was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers on April 30, but was released on August 29. Mullen was signed to the Eagles' practice squad three different times in September before being released on October 25. Mullen was a standout defensive back at Indiana, being named a first-team All-American in 2020 and first-team All-Big Ten in 2021. WR Joseph Ngata After a standout career at Clemson, Ngata spent the summer with the Eagles and signed with the practice squad after being waived during final roster cuts. In 45 college games, Ngata caught 88 passes for 1,287 yards and six touchdowns. He also had six receptions for 75 yards in three preseason games. RB Lew Nichols Nichols was drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers after an impressive career at Central Michigan University. The 25-year-old spent time on the New York Jets' practice squad this season. LB Brandon Smith The Penn State product was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. Smith has been on the Eagles practice squad since October 25 and was elevated to the gameday roster in Weeks 16 and 17. In 14 career games, the linebacker has made five tackles. C Lecitus Smith The versatile offensive lineman was drafted in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, playing in 10 games (two starts) in his rookie season. Smith was released in August during the final roster cuts and spent time on the Texans' practice squad before joining the Eagles' practice squad on November 14. The 27-year-old has played in 17 games for the Eagles (one start) over two years. Toth was signed to the Panthers' active roster from the Eagles' practice squad on October 24. He played in three games (one start) before being released and re-signing with the Eagles. Austin Watkins was the guy who lit us up in preseason with DTR throwing him the ball. Watkins didn't make the Browns' 53 man roster and DTR looked awful in relief of Watson. It just goes to show that the preseason only means so much. Seems like Watkins will at least give our 2nd and 3rd stringers someone to throw to in the preseason game. EaglesFlySBChampsHigh
11 hours ago, EagleBlueDon said: Yeah man like honestly him and Jaylon Johnson are my top 2 free agency wants. But I'm guessing neither is realistic. The only other corner I'm interested in is Sneed. All the other dudes look either old or bad. It's an awful corner free agent class. Agreed on CJ but I'd definitely be happy with him back. Savage I feel is a solid starting player who is also young and can grow. There are so many dudes who I'd be very happy with signing and pairing with Reed. Somehow swing me Jaylon Johnson and Kam Curl and I'd be insanely stoked lol. Johnson and really any of those safeties and I'd be very happy. Sneed in Philly with an aggressive DC would be a perfect match. The fans would fall in love with him right away imo
Broadway Joe
13 hours ago, Nabbs4u said: BS!!! Last year we had a Top 3 Offense Top 3 Defense We are 30th on Defense this season. Somehow despite the dysfunctional nature all season long, 7th on Offense. Pretend it doesn't make a difference all you want. It mattered!!! Yes padded against awful teams, any semi decent QB had a career day against us even on 2022.
