I get that he didn't play on the tag last season, but doesn't this still count as a 2nd tag? Having Saquan (or any RB) on a $22.6mm tag value would be a fireable offense, IMO. KhanYouDigIt
Gotta imagine the Jags will look at a guy like Sheldon Rankins. Need interior DL help and he played for Nielsen in NO.

Jaguars need to focus more on bringing Allen back because without him that edge group is pretty weak outside of Walker. Would be shocked if they bring Chaisson back, what a disappointment he has been. Edited February 20 by Ozzy

Maybe, he will be the highest paid free agent on Denver that is on the roster currently no question. Just not sure what his ceiling is as a player, for sure I would no question take Humphrey over him along with Ragnow and Linderbaum over him and probably Biadasz as well. He is one of the better young centers in the league just not sure he is near the level those first three are. I would take Cushenberry over Garrett Bradbury though because he can handle power better than Bradbury can. Bradbury recently signed for $5 mil a year, I assume Cushenberry will get a little better than that but not much more.
Trentwannabe
I’ll be very interested to see where Gabe Davis goes and for how much. I think any team signing to be their #1 would be awfully disappointed. Not sure that happens though.

I'd guess 12-13 million a year that is easily able to be exited after a year

Good blocker, deep threat type WR.
Forge
Jordan Schultz thinks Dak will reset the market and hit around 60 million per year. Not really a surprise, but there's definitely some initial sticker shock there.

Not really a surprise, but there's definitely some initial sticker shock there. This has to reach a breaking point at some point, right? QB deals will have roughly doubled in the last 5 or 6 years, and tripled in the last 10 or so. This is way beyond deals just growing with the cap, at this point. We're about at APY being 25% of the salary cap. There's no rational argument for a $5M per year jump over Burrow, from anyone, honestly. I've always been against the idea of a max contract or max salary, but at some point it feels like it would benefit everyone who isn't a QB, at this rate.
