TecmoSuperJoe
So we went from offenses starting at the 20, to the 25, and now the 30 for a kick that's either out of bounds or fielding into the endzone?

elevators_rule
ehh, should be fun. Kickoffs have been nothing more than a formality for like 10 years now. more or less just another excuse to give us a commercial break. looking forward to hopefully some exciting plays. minutemancl
While I'm ultimately against more special teams plays overall, this does look fun. And I think we are going to see some really cool, interesting plays come out of this from the more creative ST coordinators. If you really want to keep the kickoff in the game, this is the best way to do it.

The 49ers haven't had a returner of competence in a decade Man I don't know why, but seeing the video on the first page made me immediately think that it might actually make sense to put your best runner back there. So for the Niners I'd think that'd be Deebo. Now that its basically a running play, the collisions will be less on the return man too....I could actually see teams putting a good player back there now.
