Id love him forever if we pass on Barkley at 4.

I could understand Rosen, even though he is a dbag. I could understand Darnold, even with the expected learning curve. I could understand Baker, even though he is a bit short and parties hardy. But I CANNOT understand Allen. He is just as raw and scattershot as Kizer. No frickin way!

But there are several good backs, and pick #4 should go to a pillar position.
NateDawg
I like Barkley a lot but don’t really think we take a RB at 4. These guys seem like the type to be pretty confident in getting one in the 2nd to 3rd round without a huge dropoff, as with Kareem Hunt. At this point, I still think the early favorite projection of Darnold/Minkah is the most realistic one. With that said, it’s still very early in the process, and a lot can change. All speculation. bruceb
It's all about value. The #4 pick can be parlayed into great draft capital and/or player acquisition value. The questions are: (1) What is Barkley's incremental value vs. other RBs in this draft; and (2) Would Barkley's incremental value vs. other RBs in this draft be > other uses of the pick? Imho, the answers are: (1) Not enough to warrant picking him at #4; and (2) No way in hell.
bosko1616
I honestly wouldn’t be disappointed with either Chubb or Minka at 4. I love Barkley but I think at this point a RB by committee thing is the smart move. Dukes one part of that process. I think adding Sony Michel who’s a well rounded Back in the 2nd would be great then Bo Scarbrough in the 4th would build an ideal committee 1. Sony Michel “ All Around Back “ 2. Duke Johnson “ pass catching Back 3rd down specialist “ 3. Bo Scarbrough “ Grinder “
