 Know nothing about the guy.

Don't know anything either, other than he was briefly with the Bears prior to the season, but was cut when they claimed another more experienced LS after final cuts.  He's a pretty young guy, as he's never taken part in an actual regular season game, as he spent the training camp last season on the Rams roster, and then also was part of OTAs with the Broncos earlier this year.

He must be decent, as he apparently beat out 7 year veteran LS Justin Drescher, who had recently been cut by the Cardinals, but spent 6 years as the Saints' LS.

Long snapper Jeff Overbaugh will make his NFL debut for the Vikings on Sunday, and he can’t wait.

“I’ve been working for this for a long time, so it’s definitely a dream come true,’’ Overbaugh said.

At San Diego State, Overbaugh was a perfect 409 of 409 on snap attempts in 53 career games and was named the top specialist at the Senior Bowl following his senior season of 2015.

It's probably a dream also because he'll get a playoff share too even if it's just for this 1 game.  :D

Jeff Overbaugh participated in his first practice Wednesday since signing with the Vikings in the wake of Kevin McDermott suffering a shoulder injury at Green Bay. McDermott expressed optimism for rehabbing and being able to return for the playoffs.

Our 2018 home schedule looks a lot more favorable than the 2018 road schedule....who's excited for road trips to the Rams, Seahawks, Patriots and Eagles?! Either NO or CAR will come here for arguably our toughest home game. Otherwise, not very exciting right now.

Seahawks hopefully continue their downward spiral. Rams and Eagles will both be tough. Depending on the time of year, the Eagles may end up being without Wentz, but we will see how his rehab goes. I am actually excited about the Patriots. Hopefully that will be a rematch of the Superbowl, after we beat them at home, we have a chance to beat them in their own home.

As the NFL regular season gets ready to wrap up this weekend, it’s a good time to take a look back over the past 16 weeks. ESPN asked its beat reporters to reflect on the 2017 season and identify best – and worst – moments of the year for the teams that they respectively cover. Courtney Cronin said it wasn’t easy to choose just one moment from Minnesota’s successful season, but she ultimately tabbed “the statement win” over the Rams as the best. Cronin wrote:

The Vikings had a handful of statement wins throughout 2017, but here's why this one matters the most: Minnesota's showdown with the Rams, which ended in a 24-7 victory, was a measuring stick for the second half of the season. Not only did the defense hold the league's most potent offense to seven points, but Case Keenum essentially solidified his role as the starter going forward. This was the game where Minnesota was finally viewed nationally as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Cronin opined that the Vikings “worst moment” was when rookie running back Dalvin Cook suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 4 after bursting onto the scene early. Fortunately for Minnesota, Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon have successfully kept the ground game rolling in Cook’s absence as he continues to rehab the injury.

Chicago
Detroit
Green Bay
Arizona
San Francisco
Buffalo
Miami
NFC South team

Could easily go 8-0, 7-1 at home. That's a gimmie schedule.

Chicago
Detroit
Green Bay
LA Rams
Seattle
New England
NY Jets
NFC East

Should take games against Chicago, Detroit, and New York. Could take games vs. Seattle, Green Bay. Have a tough match-up vs. LA, Philly, and New England.

11-5 at minimum seems extremely reasonable.
