Yup. 2010 grad.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Zylstra led the CFL with 1,687 receiving yards for the Edmonton Eskimos this past season. One of Zylstra’s many recent NFL workouts included a stop at Winter Park on Dec. 8.

The Vikings 2018 Preseason is gonna be wild!!

Lol

That made me think...so since the Vikings are winning the Super Bowl, who are they going to face in the 2018 Kickoff Game on Thursday?  How about the Vikings at New England?  Home against the Saints?  Or at Philly or at LA?  ;)

It will be Green Bay, so the media can go back to ignoring the Vikings and talk about Rodgers' "Revenge Game".

The Super Bowl champion opens the season at home. It's just the way it is. So that eliminates 3/4ths of your suggestions there.

New Orleans and Green Bay make by far the most sense, as they usually try to create some sort of storyline. However, if the Bills somehow do the impossible and get to the Super Bowl, that should be up for consideration.

One month ago, tight end Kyle Rudolph was selected as the Minnesota Vikings Community Man of the Year, making him eligible for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year, which will be awarded in Minneapolis the night before the Super Bowl. On Thursday, the Vikings announced that Rudolph was selected by his teammates as the Vikings’ Ed Block Courage Award winner, making him eligible for that national award as well.

Rudolph has become known for his philanthropic efforts in the community, especially after opening Kyle Rudolph’s End Zone, an interactive play area for patients and their families and friends at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Rudolph was inspired to give back by his experience as a young child in children’s hospitals while his younger brother fought and defeated neuroblastoma cancer.

The Ed Block Courage Award annually honors one player from every NFL team who exemplifies commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage, both on the field and off. The Ed Block Courage Award is named in honor of Ed Block, the longtime head athletic trainer of the Baltimore Colts.
