Becareful though, because both the Subbed and Dubbed are playing in theaters, you have to click the right one. He wants me to start with Naruto or Full Metal Alchemist, but my attention span sucks so I try not to watch longer series. I will literally never watch Naruto out of spite. I have, however, started Fate/Zero just because it seemed to appeal to my tastes. I'm liking it so so much so far. Once I finish, I have interest in: - Attack on Titan - Death Note I kind of want to wait a bit on watching Cowboy Bebop and other classics, so that I will appreciate them properly. Any other suggestions based on what I already am interested in? If you don't care about dubbing then Vinland Saga would be a good add to your list. It checks most of your boxes. Demon Slayer maybe? Most of the widely known anime are shonen and they tend to be a little less dark on average than maybe your taste would dictate though a lot of is excellent.
