The Often Overbearing, But Otherwise Ordinary Offensive Line

The Vikings' offensive line has been VERY good this season, by multiple measurements.

Per @PFF -- 14th in pass protection and 4th in run blocking.

Per ESPN -- 6th in pass block win rate and 7th in run block win rate.

Did anyone in this forum see Bradburys bounce back happening?

Through 5 weeks he's playing like a top 10 Center.

I didn't put down all hope for young Garrett Bradbury, but I was about as close to putting down all hope as one can be without giving up on him. Hopefully he can keep it up. He has played decent enough this season so far, but he is going to need to keep it up all year to convince many of his skeptics -- myself included.

Is he a free agent next year. Definitely would be hesitant to bring him back.

Did we see this much improvement coming? Not really. But I think a lot of folks understood that better play next to him would help him. Udoh was truly horrendous last season. I also think Bradbury fits this particular offense better.

Will it be enough to earn an extension? We’ll see. But if he keeps this up, it’s gonna be hard to let him leave.

He is a FA as we didn't pick up his 5th year option.

I'm the opposite mindset if he continues this level of play. He could likely be extended for 3-4 years on a very reasonable deal.
