I figured he'd sign for a reasonable price because of the injury history. Maybe the reason he wasn't on Lynch's radar but for that price, I would have signed him in a heartbeat over Alexander. This is, of course, if we completely bail on the current safety market. Health is definitely an issue with Berry, but if he checks out health-wise, i wonder if the Niners would have significant interest.
