Enjoy life at the bottom. My bet is the Ravens organization.

Yeah that’s exactly how it sounds. The browns have one of the best young QBs on a rookie deal, one of the best young pss rushers on a rookie deal, and one of the best young corners on a rookie deal. That is every GMs wet dreams! They hate us cause they ain’t us...
LETSGOBROWNIES
“Let’s just grab players and win”. Interesting criticism when that’s essentially the job of a GM in 6 words. Not sure how they’re lacking a long term plan when this is essentially year 3 of the same plan Sashi started. Collect assets, push your chips to the center of the table while your QB is on a rookie deal. Seems simple enough... How is this roster sustainable long term? It’s not obviously, no championship quality roster is. Every year decisions will have to be made to keep the cap in check and good players are going to walk, no different than most other teams making a run at a ring. Dumb article tbh. Translation: That guy was really good looking, popular, dynamic, and had a contagious personality. You didn't want to get too close because you realize how much better he is than you are, and it's easier to try to take cheap shots and bring him down than it is to step up your game. You know, deep down, how inadequate you are, and are actually terrified of him because he's better than you and could steal your girlfriend in an instant if he wanted to. You'd rather make vague backhanded compliments and be his friend to his face than ever actually confront him in person, because he'd totally own you if you did.

candyman93
These anonymous executives are just codeword for “some hack job who works in the building and gossips.” It’s impossible to police the media. FGK
How bad are our "big name" local media? In a recent ESPN re-draft article for all 32 teams, Pat McManamon was THE ONLY ONE who DID NOT BOTHER to name a replacement pick. How hard is it to google "20__ NFL DRaft" and pick a name after the original pick who is good? Way too hard for Pat apparently. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2019/story/_/id/26473482/nfl-draft-do-overs-let-re-pick-fix-mistakes-all-32-teams Quote Literally, any other player drafted after Manziel (pass-rusher Dee Ford went 23rd) would have been better. The damage from this pick cannot be fully calculated, because missing on a quarterback taken high sets a team back the number of years it commits to him, plus the same number of years to find the next guy. In the Browns' case, this choice set them back four seasons -- or until they found Baker Mayfield. The signals and signs Manziel was not truly committed were there, but the Browns went ahead with a choice they should have avoided.

The Gilbert pick still should've been Odell. Roll into this year with Beckham AND our 1st, 3rd, and Peppers.
Kiwibrown
Also there is a fine line between quarterback purgatory and a guy that can win a championship. I'm glad we didnt end up their. Derek Carr, Jimmy G, Tannehill, Alex Smith, Phillip Rivers, are good-great players that won't challenge for a superbowl. NateDawg
Unlike @freakygeniuskid, I was big on Jimmy G. in that draft.
