Yeah it doesn't make much sense in regards to OROY. It's offensive Rookie of the year, not special teams rookie of the year. Just sayin Quentin Nelson it is then

I already said in this thread that I don't see Mayfield's 2018 as close at all to the top 3 rookie QB seasons of this decade (Newton, Wilson, RG3). Barkley is without question more comparable to the top rookie RB seasons. Dak you may say is "close" if you give Dallas' line the credit they deserve. Mayfield is closer to Luck and Winston. And did I mention that all 6 of these guys had more total touchdowns than Baker? If you want to narrow in on passing TDs and the lesser games played (which shouldn't help his case for a single year award) it should be noted that Watson would likely have far exceeded Mayfield's total if he played close to a full season. That was just last year.

That was just last year. You can’t do that. Using the argumentative reasoning established within this thread, clearly Dak Prescott is the reason why that Dallas OL was elite that season. He had elite protection setup and motivational techniques. They didn’t want to let him down so they didn’t allow him to get sacked often and they paved the way for him and Zeke to dominate like they did. Dak is an elite OL specialist. edit: Therefore Dak’s season was better.

Oh, btw, here are the teams who allowed the least sacks in 2018 1. Indy 2. NO 3. NE 4. Pittsburgh 5. KC You noticing a trend there?? I’m sure it’s just the great OL’s and nothing else...
