Wow. GB keeping all 4 of their RB's....and maybe both FB's too!

makes sense imo. they've all been decent and are different types of backs. the other thing is that many of them have had injury concerns before, so the depth might be needed. Monty has missed time in the preseason. Mays missed a ton of time his Sr. yr of college. AJones missed basically his entire Jr. yr.

Out of 10 picks, 3 cut and 2 potentially on IR / PUP. Tough start for the 2017 class.

well....the cuts come from the 5-7th round picks.  Not that surprising when you have a team as overall talented and deep as GB is

GB has a pattern of OLB converting to ILB.   Hawk, Plamer, Jones, Lattimore, Ryan.

Hawk and Ryan don't count at all. They played 4-3 OLB. In a 3-4 that position ALWAYS translates to ILB. It's an off the ball LB and a 3-4 OLB is a perimeter edge rusher who lines up on the line but upright.

ILB is an instincts position.  Read it before you see it.  Not sure that Clay is that good in that regard, but he is aggressive and makes some plays by guessing/being aggressive, but can also get himself out of position at times with that process.

Just don't see Fackrell fitting in at all there if thats what they decide, he'd get ate up worse in the run game than at OLB.

WOW   Gilbert was someone who looked good in his reps.  Most surprising thus far to me

Not up on the machinations in building the 53 but is it possible that tomorrow they PUP Biegel and IR Adams then add Brooks and Gilbert?

GB apparently is looking for OG help on the market though so wouldn't be surprised if one of these 2 get the boot eventually

I agree with the off ball/on ball concept.   Inside regardless of 3-4 or 4-3 is very different than 4-3OLB.  Just more trash to deal with in front of you and from both sides inside vs outside.  Dealing with IOL and OT coming at you vs TE and WR is vastly different
