They want to destroy Ferngully. If we did go with the elf on the helmet (likely as single or duel alternates), I want to come out strong; I could see a pair of alternate helmets, one with brown and white plus the elf on the helmet and one with orange and white plus the elf of the helmet. The thing to remember is that the same people who dislike the Elf are the same ones who currently cheer for a team with a orange default helmet as the primary logo. The helmet is soulless, boring, unimaginative, stands for nothing involved with the team identity and MOST IMPORTANTLY is associated with getting your a** beat since 1999. There is really nowhere to go but up. Instead of tweaking the uniforms 100x I think the team should focus on branding and creating a team identity. Right now, we are the Cleveland Helmet Dog Elves.
