NVRamsFan
Lighter than I'd hoped for. So do the teams they cheated in the ALCS and WS get those picks? That would be some poetic justice.

Jim crane It’s easier to punish the GM than all of the players. How do you even go about the player involvement?

biggio7
I hope it continues and more teams get caught too. MLB needs to just ban all tech from the dug/hall area for good.

Easier yes which is why that’s what they did I’m not saying Ludhow shouldn’t be punished it just seems incredibly unfair your going to ruin one guys career, and everyone else gets off with no punishment whatsoever, when he was probably the least involved of anyone

Luhnow should pull a Michael Jordan and go play in the G league for a year. more like, baseball wanted to ban them but instead threw Crane a bone and let him appear to have a public victory by firing them. That way it sends a different message about the organization moving forward. savvy strategic public relations move to be honest 7 hours ago, mission27 said: It’s honestly the same **** they pulled with steroids “let’s just blame 5 really famous players so people can burn them at the stake and forget everyone else who was responsible” typical lazy media narrative / fall guy syndrome but dont you see, obviously sign stealing just disappeared from baseball forever with this move
Kmart128
Wow if that wass what Hinch got cant imagine what will happen to Cora. Cora was only coach mentioned in Astros investigation. Then got caught again with Red Sox after being warned for using an applewatch in dugout. Will Cora get a permanent ban?

From the sounds of it hes the biggest culprit of it and his cheating resulted in 2 WS. They need to kick him out to make sure it never happens again.
