Not sure I follow. Weve runned primarily WCO concepts for roughly 5 years.

We really haven't. There are a few plays here and there, but not a tried and true WCO. Our offense does not resemble that of Green Bay or San Francisco when they used to use it. Garrett tried to force feed the offense we ran in the 90s, and that's not a WCO.

Does this mean Dak will be under center more, and we'll utilize play action?

Possibly. It would also mean more slants, screens, and crossing routes; the plays he isn't very good at because they typically require a more accurate passer.

Have you watched literally any Cowboys games the past 5 years? Weve run a WCO offense base since linehan. And Dak has thrived.

sigh......

If your average Cowboy fan is to be believed, though, he probably allowed 5 times this much separation on the plays he wasn't actually targeted, which they all combed over in detail on the All-22

Don't worry we'll just draft another cornerback in round one so our defense can suck again

Bottom line it doesn't matter if Byron Jones was as good as advertised or not, our defense still sucks.. We need to win the battle of the line of scrimmage, having a supposed great cb last year did nothing for our defense

Boom. Byron Jones was a great corner but not great enough to carry his cap causality which can be used on cheaper/younger/more talent.

Super simple
