He is a very solid pass blocker and an average run blocker.Decker is 27 years old so this will cover the prime of his career. With COVID-19, the Lions are getting a slightly above average LT at a decent wage who they are familiar with. The 2021 draft season is going to be a crapshoot and anyone who is even in this ballpark that is available in FA is going to get PAID. I guess this isn't THAT much for a tackle these days, and it's not like I'd really hear much about him since Lions have not been contending and you just don't hear about linemen on losing teams unless we're dealing with generational talents. Solid college tackle and good NFL prospect with athleticism and technique. I think he battled some incomsistency as a rookie and second year guy but mostly due to injuries. Good for the Lions. berlin calling Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 guess its not the worst for an OL to not be a well known commidity. do your job and get paid fairly. good deal for both sides. having both tackles signed at 15m per for the foreseeable future is smart by the Lions. establish continuity and let the line gel. your QB already has been beaten a lot during his stint in Detroit and you may want to start him another few seasons.
