Slingin' Sammy
Bad defense? Poor coaching and adjustments? Bad luck? Or even being lucky early in games before regressing to the mean? It feels like this is the fourth or fifth game this season where they’ve squandered a double-digit lead. Hard to blame Herbert since he’s given them all you could ask for and then some for a rookie QB with essentially no preseason.

Apparition
The new and inventive ways the Chargers keep finding to lose winnable games never ceases to amaze. I'll never forget that 2010 season when they had the #1 offense and defense in the league, but missed the playoffs because of a bad kick coverage unit.
Jlowe22
They blew leads last two times they played the Saints. In 2016, they were up 13 with 8 minutes left and fumbled on two straight plays and threw a pick last drive of the game.

Bearerofnews
Has to be curse. Doesn't matter the coach, the coordinators, the players the qb.. it keeps happening. Even different cities. Has to be some weird curse.
