Who gets left out in the AFC?

Everyone winning today becomes bad news for the Dolphins. If the Dolphins win out, they are in. Although, I don't see Miami beating Buffalo in Buffalo the final week unless they rest their starters. And I doubt Buffalo will be resting their starters, in a race with Tennessee for #3.

This is looking likely:

1) Chiefs

2) Steelers

3) Bills

4) Titans/Colts 11-5

5) Browns 12-4 (if Steelers rest starters)

6) Ravens 11-5

7) Titans/Colts 11-5

And Dolphins would be 10-6 looking in.

At the end of the day though, Dolphins do control their own destiny.

If the teams favored win the games they should, we are looking at:

2. Steelers vs 7. Colts

4. Titans vs 5. Ravens

3. Bills vs 6. Browns

Some really intriguing matchups.

That’s the match up I want for the browns.

the steelers could drop one to the colts or browns though, especially if the north is locked up and we rest guys - that paves the way for buffalo to take the #2

Yeah if Buffalo takes #2, and rest starters against Miami, the loser of the AFC South is probably going to get screwed.

Could have an 11-5 team miss the playoffs which would be nuts.

I think the Colts have a great shot against the Steelers coming off a short week. Rivers in cold weather is a problem though. He needs a signature victory on his long time AFC rival though else he will be waiting a long time for the HoF. Titans have to play @Texans week 17 and it will not be an easy game for them to close out the south.
