Great point. That mixed with learning a new system, we wouldn’t be picking up his 5th year option and our draft spot... we have to move on from him. Draft a QB at 2 and load that guy up with weapons and protection. And trade Darnold for best package to the nfc

Wilson is the type of guy you take a chance on,

Thats the problem, we can't "take a chance on" a guy, we need players not chances.  Take a sure thing rather than a player who could be another Sam Darnold and have to re-start in 3 years yet again.

What do you think your chances of pulling out a win against Chicago or Indy?

Think Chicago provides a possibility. They were dead in the water for a bit, although they've been great the last couple weeks and Trubisky is surging. However we all know how Trubisky has been over his career so expecting that to continue and not realizing the potential for a letdown is just wishful thinking. We've continued to get more banged up and the talent really isn't there to outright win, but if Trubisky makes some mistakes and they look past us (which I don't know how they can at 7-7 and in the thick of a WC race, but crazier things have happened) then it very well could happen. Don't really know about a percent chance, but theres a chance.

We beat Indy earlier in the year in a bit of a flukey performance and they're fighting for a division/WC spot. Think this one has a pretty low likelihood comparatively speaking, especially with it being in Indy.

Where was all this Zach Wilson love before last night?

To be fair, the hype for him started back in October. He’s shown high level throws all year. As Jets fans, we haven’t been talking about him mostly because we’ve been locked into that number 1 pick. And that’s Lawrence all the way.

Most of us are banking on Trubisky blowing it more so than you guys winning. Similar to what Goff just did to us. Last home game of the season for you guys I am interested in seeing how the fans respond. Will they cheer for you guys to win, if so the momentum could be enough to push the players to get it done one last time. If they you guys are booing them for making good plays tho, will that motivate them even more to try and win.

I know our players were fed up with the tank talks and it motivated them to play harder than ever.

You're not picking Fields for where he sits right now. You're picking him for what he ends up being with further development.

If that’s the case, why wouldn’t the team that ends up with pick number not just trade back and draft Lance? Lance seems to have all the tools Fields has. Both throw pretty deep balls. But if both need to sit, why not just go with the guy that’s likely going to go in the 6-15 range?
