candyman93
I feel like this will be the story of our 2020 class throughout the year: Jedrick Wills is doing admirable at LT. He needs to cut down on the false start penalties, but he’s rock solid thus far. Jordan Elliott is defending the run well. Harrison Bryant caught his first TD pass against Washington. Hasn’t done much outside of that receiving wise. Other than that, our rookies haven’t done anything.

Uncle Buck
On 9/23/2020 at 6:07 PM, cp0k2 said: He looks fully Lionized, which is very impressive considering he's only played one game in the NFL. He didn't play week 1 reportedly because of a hamstring, but there are rumors that he would have only played every third or fourth series if he were active. Week 2 he was the second lowest graded CB by PFF. He led the team in tackles (because he gave up so many completions) and honestly looked lost out there. Davante Adams made him look silly a couple of times but, I mean, Adams is an elite route runner and this was Okudah's first game in the NFL. What's more concerning is that Valdez-Scantling also made him look silly. He was in man to man for a lot of his snaps so it's not like he was blowing zone responsibilities, he was just getting beat. There's rumblings that he's been a diva throughout training camp as well. All in all, it's one game against a Hall of Fame QB and a Pro Bowl WR and there's logically no way he's not going to get better, it's just a bit concerning to see and hear, especially when C.J. Henderson has been balling out for Jacksonville. That was hilarious! Thanks for the laugh. (Sorry for laughing but it WAS a good line.) It's early, and any rookie CB is going to struggle, especially when you consider that he didn't even haven much of a training camp this year. He should be a good one before long. onejayhawk
Our best rookie has been L'Jarius Sneed, 4th round CB from Louisiana Tech. He broke his collarbone in the 2nd quarter Monday night. 🤕 J

Uncle Buck
For the Vikings, our rookie cornerbacks (Jeff Gladney and Cam Dantzler) were thrust into action right away and have struggled. That isn't much of a surprise, considering they didn't have much of a training camp. The lack of fans in the stadiums and missing Danielle Hunter to rush the passer has made things even tougher for them. Mike Zimmer is a great cornerback coach, though, so he should get them playing better in time. The bright spot has definitely been first round wide receiver Justin Jefferson. He was drafted to replace Stefon Diggs, so he had some big shoes to fill. He didn't get many targets in Week 1, had a few more in Week 2 and looked good, and then broke out BIG TIME in Week 3. If he keeps playing like this, the Diggs trade will end up having been a good move, since he is younger, is paid less, and isn't a headache in the locker room. ThatJaxxenGuy
Patrick Queen was victimized against the Chiefs but overall he has been decent. Definitely a raw player.

JK Dobbins looks awesome but our backfield by committee kind of has this problem of not letting any backs settle into the game... hopefully it clears up a bit because they have 3 guys who all demand touches with their skill sets. Oh ok. I haven't gotten to see JK Dobbins play yet. I was thinking you were a Jags fan based on your name. Sorry.

Apparition
[Footage not found] except for Onwenu (PFF's #2 overall guard) and JJ Taylor, who have both looked really good. Pats rarely ask for much from their rookies, though. So it's fine.
project T.O
Lamb- has over 200 yard receiving through 3 games as really third to 4th option in the offense. As advertised. Need to get him off special teams. Diggs- has gotten beat at times, but kids a gamer and makes plays on the ball which is a rarity in the cowboys secondary. Biadasz- finally slipped into starting lineup near end of Seattle game handling snaps. Not an easy spot for a rookie, but seemed to play well ( outside of one false start issue). Didn’t hear much else from him which is a typically a good thing when it comes to interior lineman. Other guys don’t have nearly enough footage to even begin to evaluate. Daniel
Kristian Fulton has struggled at times, but he also has an INT, a sack, a tackle for loss, and a pass deflected. It's not a bad start for a rookie who wasn't ready. Darrynton Evans has three carries for 9 yards and Larrell Murchison has a tackle and Chris Jackson is back to being buried in the depth chart, so it's all Fulton at this point for Titans rookies. Chargers
Justin Herbert - Historic start to Herbert's career so far. He joins Cam Newton and Kyler Murray, as the only rookies to have 2 300+ yard games their first two starts. A few rookie mistakes but outside of that he has been a breath of fresh air to this offense that looked dead when Tyrod Taylor was starting. Kyler Murray - He is starting and getting plenty of snaps and has done a decent job so far. He had poor game against the Panthers and his weakness in coverage is being taken advantage of so far as well. Hopefully things get better, lots of potential K9Murray Joshua Kelley - Has already taken snaps away from Justin Jackson as he heals from injury. He is a very reliable runner and his fumble against the Panthers was more of incredible play by the Panthers than a issue of Kelly's. Joe Reed - He looks good in special teams but hasn't gotten many snaps if any on offense yet. Alohi Gilman - N/A buried behind the depth chart. K.J Hill - Finally saw some quality snaps vs the Panthers but had 2 bad drops in crucial moments. Not a rookie but another young player is Jalen Guyton who has been surprisingly good in the WR3 posistion. Herbert seems to have more chemistry with him than the other young wideouts.
