If they hire Robert Saleh in FA with their insane budge they could import some of Richard Sherman, Akhello Witherspoon, KWaun Williams, Jaquiski Tartt and Jason Verrett or whatever. Kerry Hyder and Solomon Thomas might want to follow (Thomas for a new start and familiarity, and Hyder to maintain success plus get paid a bit).

QB: Trevor Lawrence
RB: James Robinson
WR: DJ Chark, Chris Conley
WR: Laviska Shenault, Keelan Cole
Slot: Dede Westbrook
TE: ???
LT: Cam Robinson or an upgrade
LG: Andrew Norwell
OC: Brandon Linder

RG: AJ Cann or an upgrade
RT: Jawaan Taylor

DE: Kerry Hyder,
DT: Davon Hamilton
DT: Taven Bryan, Solomon Thomas
DE: Josh Allen, Klavon Chaisson
LB: Myles Jack
LB: Joe Schobert
CB: Richard Sherman, Jason Verrett
CB: CJ Henderson, DJ Hayden
FS: Anthony Harris, Justin Simmons or Malik Hooker or a draft pick, or in house option
SS: Jaquiski Tartt, or in house option

I'd be shocked if the Jags took Lawrence, then if he was healthy picked in the top 10 next year. They'd really have to blow the front office and coaching hires imo. An offense that can actually drive will also help your defense by keeping them off the field and limit turnovers. If you score one more touchdown and give up a FG less points per game you'd be 7 or 8 win team.

actually saleh was our LB coach under bradley so if we were to bring him in .   really dont see the point to bring in a bunch of 49ers cast offs just cuz fimiliarity when actuality it seems saleh can figure out players and their strengths....lord help us if he hires todd wash our current DC to be his DC tho

it'll be interesting to see which team Trevor forces a trade to in 4 years.

hes playing in the 2nd/3rd closest team to his hometown.  om not sure if the panthers or jags are closer but the falcons are the closest so he gets to stay in the south which im assuming he likes cuz he could have went anywhere as a recruit ;)

And Gabbert and Bortles were first round quarterbacks. Not on par as a prospect as Lawrence, but he could easily end up being on that list in five years.

There's nothing wrong with being excited about having the first pick and landing a highly hyped prospect. However, actually rooting for your team to lose is bush league.

If your team was in the dumps for years and it came down to one game for getting a potential generational talent, you wouldnt cheer for your team to win a meaningless game over getting said player.

If you claim otherwise, you're either lying or not that bright.

Am I saying teams should tank?   No.   I am saying that, as a fan, we should be cheering for whats best for the franchise....and thats not always necessarily winning games.

Technically, he's from Knoxville, Tennessee. But from Cartersville, Georgia, Jacksonville is the fourth closest NFL franchise.

Atlanta - 43 miles
Nashville - 208 miles
Charlotte - 275 miles
Jacksonville - 389  miles

I agree that he probably would like to remain in the South. When he chose Clemson, his mother stated, "this was, academically, athletically and geography (sic), where he felt most comfortable.” Regardless, he and his family do not seem like the type of people to try to force their way to New York. Then again, his idol is Peyton Manning and while Peyton didn't do it, Eli did. We'll just have to wait and see.

To be fair peyton had a fairly talented supporting cast when he came in.

Colts had faulk, Harrison, pathon, pollard, silver and 2 stud ol in glenn, meadows.

Compare that to the chargers who had LT, Brees, and a very unproven gates(1st year).

Part of the reason I think he demanded cuz he didn't want to sit for a few years
