candyman93
Colts would be a fantastic fit for Stafford
theuntouchable
I hope wherever he goes he gets the chance to shine in the playoffs. I’d love to see him in either San Fran or Indy because both teams have things pretty set outside of QB. Still gonna root for him wherever he goes. It can be the symbol of our friendship. The bond we share through Matthew Stafford.
SkippyX
Contracts can always be reworked but what a new team would get is 2 years at 43 million total. The Lions eat 19 over 3 years in a trade or release.

ReadyToThump
I love Stafford, hoping the best for him. The man is strong as an ox and deserves to go to a contender.
CWood21
Patriots, 49ers, Broncos, and Colts all seem like logical fits given timeline and resources available.

Think it's a FRP this year plus a conditional pick next year and some change. Something like FRP this year along with a fourth, and then a conditional pick next year that can be as high as a first or as low as a 4th. bucksavage1
Good for the Lions. They were in QB purgatory with Stafford. A big contract QB on a team who isn't winning. Stafford will always be known for his backdoor covers and garbage time stats

I have a slightly used Carson Wentz with your name on it. You don't need Stafford.
lavar703
I’d assume Mayhew is going to go after this. I wonder what it’s going to cost us?
