Watson will get traded to the Jets and be the great hope of New York, watch. The Lions rebuild and take a high end rookie on a rookie deal for the next 3 years. The nice thing about acquiring Stafford is that there's no proration for any team doing so. I would almost guarantee that any team trading for Stafford immediately signs him to an extension of 3 years, converts 2021 salary / roster bonus to SB, and has him count for like 6 million on the 2021 cap. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
