Really???  I have probably only initiated a few other posts in this entire 191 page thread.  I have attempted a few times to try and shed some light on why the unvaccinated do not want to get the jab.  If that is considered to be "continually posting bait messages," I'd have to say I disagree with that sentiment.  Whatever.  I posted something as a little food for thought.  If it falls on deaf ears, there is nothing I can do.  We can't force people to agree with us.

I'm not shielding myself from criticism either.  Those who disagree can feel free to criticize.  I'm more than secure enough in myself to read a few dissenting opinions, whether they pertain to football or Covid-19.

What was the point of the meme?

Are you implying the “just asking questions” crowd is doing so in good faith? Because by and large they’re not. These people honestly make me remember back to middle school or whenever when everyone was told “there are no dumb questions”.  There are, there absolutely are.  They just said that so the stupid kid wouldn’t be shy.  Unfortunately now the *** are anything but shy.

If your understanding of vaccines, or viruses or whatever is so minimal that the easy to consume data all over the internet is befuddling, then stfu and just listen to the experts.  The dipsht who has to take off his shoes to count to 12 isn’t going to understand how this works, I’m sorry. It’s the least educated and dimmest that seem to think they’ve somehow unearthed “the real truth” because the googled some ish and found some sketchy website that tells them what they want to hear. The “I’ve done my own research” group literally doesn’t know what research is.

Which brings me to the next point, the approved resources issue.  Yes.  That’s how that works.  In order to have information that’s viewed as credible, it needs to be collected in a particular manner and, ideally peer reviewed. ‘Member when you had to cite your sources in elementary school?  This is like that.  Just as you couldn’t use “my mom” as an acceptable resource then, DrPatriotTruthSeeker.com, etc isn’t a damned reliable source now.  This is obvious to everyone who managed to remember snippets of middle school and/or have functional brains.

Now I don’t know you personally at all, so I’m not saying you’re that dumbass, but if you’re not, you may wanna try harder because you’re giving that impression.

I took one of these last year and learned a lot. I had taken a college biology course a year and a half prior, so it was still somewhat fresh. I don't see the exact course that I did, but there still appears to be several good options. I recommend them to everyone in general for expanding your knowledge on COVID. Here's two that immediately stuck out at the beginner level:

Quote

The COVID-19 epidemic has made many people want to understand the science behind pressing questions like: "How many people have been infected?" "How do we measure who is infected?" "How infectious is the virus?" "What can we do?" Epidemiology has the tools to tell us how to collect and analyze the right data to answer these questions.

In addition to a basic understanding of these essential tools, this Teach-Out provides a way for you to learn and connect with one another while continuing to practice the social distancing measures that will help keep us safe. We also hope to provide you with some tangible calls to action that will help you affect positive change for yourself, your community, and our society.

In this course, you will follow in the footsteps of the bioinformaticians investigating the COVID-19 outbreak by assembling the SARS-CoV-2 genome. Whether you’re new to the world of computational biology, or you’re a bioinformatics expert seeking to learn about its applications in the COVID-19 pandemic, or somewhere in between, this course is for you! As you go through this journey, we will introduce and explain genomic concepts and give you many opportunities to practice your skills, and we will provide a series of problems with gradually increasing complexity. This first course will only discuss the assembly of the SARS-CoV-2 genome, but future courses in this series will explore follow-up bioinformatics analyses used in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Not sure why the creator said “scientific” but the point remains.

Yep, 15 min of Google-fu on the crapper and these smooth brains think they’ve cracked the damned DiVinci code that research scientists, virologist, epidemiologist, infections disease specialists, pharmaceutical companies, etc., ALL OVER THE WORLD haven’t figured out or are completely wrong about.

Is that what you think I was going for?

Well, personal attacks are against forum rules, so if you weren’t going for subtlety, then you didn’t care if anyone realized you were breaking the rules by implying that the guy was a “dipsht” and a “dumbass.”

Well I said specifically I wasn’t referring to him as I didn’t know him, so I don’t know how I could be attacking him personally?

I was referring to a broad group of people with certain idiotic stances.

Is the shoe fitting a little too well for you or what?

If you don’t realize this is very thinly veiled, then I don’t know what else to tell you.

“Now I don’t know you personally at all, so I’m not saying you’re that dumbass, but if you’re not, you may wanna try harder because you’re giving that impression.”

You may not have called him one, but you said he gave that impression.

Wait, are you implying that I worded that specifically so that I didn’t break the forum rules but also got my point across?

idk man, that doesn’t sound like something I’d do.

Touting a $1500 treatment for covid instead of a $2 mask and a free vaccine to prevent it in the first place.

These are the dumbest human beings on the face of the goddam planet.

It's only approved by the FDA for emergency use.

I don't think it's even thin, but it's perfectly stated and right on the money.
