Regardless of how things shake out it is going to be an interesting draft for the Lions (2), Giants (2), Jets (2), and Eagles (3). Those 4 teams own 9 of the 32 first-round selections, for now. 6 of those 9 are currently in the top 10.

Not including the top guys I would not mind if the Vikings got any of these corners, especially McCreary but he could be hard to get.  Vincent Gray could be around 2nd round and beyond and he is a real lock down guy like McCreary who can stick with a WR.  Getting a big corner like Emerson or a great ball skill corner like Waller or Jones could totally happen in the middle rounds.  Would not hate getting Mathis who is a great man to man guy, and McDuffie could go high in the draft but if not could be a standout slot guy.  Riley Moss has great ball skills and should be around mid rounds.  Castro-Fields is another tough corner but more like a late round pick and Bryce Watts could be a later round steal, big time athlete out of UNC but transfer and has had injury issues, but has big time potential and athletic ability.

Roger McCreary Auburn SR

Vincent Gray Michigan SR

Andrew Booth Jr Clemson JR

Martin Emerson Miss State JR

Jermaine Waller Virginia Tech JR

Jack Jones Arizona State RS SR

Trent McDuffie Washington JR

Coby Bryant Cincinnati RS SR

Damarri Mathis Pitt RS SR

Riley Moss Iowa SR

Tariq Castro-Fields Penn State

Bryce Watts UMASS SR

Emerson and Waller declaring though really helps the depth of the class.

Draft with 2 small trade downs.  I don't think Moss falls that far but McCreary probably starts day 1 and McBride and Smith offer high end long term potential

Looking at the 12th overall pick never made sense to me......since, you know, they could have picked the next guy or next. I guess for fun, sure, but it is no way to judge the value of the pick.

I hope they either win two playoff games or more, or move up in picks. One or the other.

Well, unlike that 2011 draft, this isn't supposed to be a really deep draft for QBs, so the odds are slim that even if they have a new GM or coach, that they'd take one at #12.    Plus, the Vikings did have 1 #12 pick that worked out pretty well for them...
