I definitely think run defense is where we will miss BG the most but I didn’t think we had a good run defense even before we went down.

Because the LB's. We have the most no name crew of LB's ever assembled under Howie.

This is bad. But it’s just one game. You guys are overreacting. It’s a young staff with young players at big positions. Sucks that it’s against Dallas but these games happen to teams trying to establish an identity. Pissed that they didn’t come to play; penalties, lack of a true game plan, panicked and abandoned the run, etc but it’s not the end of the world. Dallas is a good team with good leadership. They’re a step above us and they proved it. Doesn’t mean we’re dead in the water. Plenty of football left.

This is an embarrassment, especially with how much Sirianni hyped things up this week. He fell right on his face.

Things aren’t over, but the cracks are showing for the staff/roster more.

Will be big to see how they respond to this, and we got a helluva 4 weeks coming up to try to right the ship against.

This could just be two bad games from a new staff and young QB against two teams that are penciled in to be playoff teams. We’ll see.

The only actually VERY alarming things to take away from this game is how often hurts underthrows and how much our run defense was decimated by b rex getting hurt. The penalties too of course. Everything else I don't care that much about only 3 weeks in.

You guys are making your final assessments on a 17 game season on one of the worst games in a year. You have to realize you’re being a bit unfair to a team that has zero experience and history. This has been an AWFUL game but you’re letting emotion run the day. This can absolutely certainly be chalked up to a bad week by a young team still trying to find itself. Happens to every team. It’s week 3. So much time to prove it one way or the other.

Carson Strong, Hamilton and some stud LB would be amazing but impossible.

Strong is one of the few who actually has the freedom to make pre-snap line adjustments, has a way better arm than Hurts, and a good deep ball. He is inconsistent in the medium and short game tho.
