rocky_rams
Is the 2 minute warning necessary? I know it acts as an extra time out but is it something that the game can move on without? I see both sides but what do you all think
KingOfNewYork
It adds a piece of strategy I think that's beneficial to the game. Along with it being a built in TV timeout that NFL games dont have as consistently as NBA games so its great for ads.

BayRaider
Adds more chances for comebacks and excitement to the game. I’d even be in favor of a 1 minute warning. Which is wayyyy better than the 4th and 15 onside rule they were flirting with a couple years ago to create more comebacks.
TheKillerNacho
if it didnt have a place in the game already, i would heavilyt oppose adding such a thing but it does. dont change what isnt broken... although i wouldnt complain if it were removed.
THE DUKE
It makes it harder to just run out the clock, which is boring, so hooray 2 minute warning! If anything, i'd argue for shortening the play clock to 25 seconds in the 2 minute warning as well.

Agreed when you add in the clock combined with timeouts and the 2 minute warning it creates a situation that coaches have to make decisions on the fly. Clock management at the end of games for coaches is like a game winning drive for QBs and both are hand in hand Edited October 8, 2021 by TakeTheBallDeep

Ty21
I’m okay with it being in there and wouldn’t want it changed, in the same way I didn’t want XP changed
kramxel
It's a TV thing, not a game thing. That said it's obviously gonna stay, they're probably one of the most income generating add spots.
