So everyone is incentivized to give minorities a chance throughout their organization so their quality people get picked and get them draft picks.

The best people should be in the best spots regardless of their skin color.

If u want an interesting tidbit if the jags do indeed hire Wilson and leftwich they would be the first Minority owned, ran(gm), and coached team in league history.

Yea I’m not quite sure what all the complaining is about haha. The Rooney rule, regardless of how pathetic in the fact it’s needed, seems to be working. At the very least with this cycle. The fact people still don’t understand that the comp. 3rds going to the team that is losing said coach/GM incentivizes all teams to hire, develop and promote minorities throughout their organization. Something that was not happening, or at a very minimal rate, for decades throughout the NFL. I’m trying to stick to just football related talk here, but the people saying “it shouldn’t matter about that, just who’s qualified enough for the job” is pretty silly. You mean to tell me throughout the decades of the NFL there haven’t been qualified minorities?

Can anyone say anything good about McDaniels as a head coach?  Please.  🥺

He is as qualified as just about anyone with his OC track record.

He made a bad call as a HC with Tebow but anyone can make a bad draft pick.

There were lots of people who doubted that Jones could play or thrive in the NFL.

He looked pretty good more often than not as a rookie under McDaniels.

Don't worry about him backing out of the Colts job.

Irsay is a pill popping nobody who inherited daddy's team. He's allowed to get bad vibes from him.

BB himself backed out of the Jets job over bad vibes.

FYI, the guy McDaniels picked to be his DC in Indy stayed. He just got hired by the Bears as HC.

Lots of people tried to dunk on McDaniels with Frank Reich's record.

Reich is 37-28 and 1-2 in 4 years with 0 division titles in a not the greatest division.

He got eliminated by the Jags in week 18 this year.

Reich is fine but his minimal successes prove nothing about McDaniels.

Charlie Weis has a couple of those due to Brady also. Maybe he should get hired.

If it's all Brady, why do they even bother having an offensive coordinator?  Brady is great, but that shouldn't negate the contributions of the rest of the people in the building.
