I’m hoping for 1 decent tackle and I’ll be satisfied.  Shocked they kept Preston and let Hollins walk.

Same. Big spending sprees is what bad teams do, see: Jaguars (and us in the past). Would rather keep the cap flexibility if it comes down to it.

Aside from the OL, I don't think we have any glaring holes on the roster that need to be addressed immediately, maybe ILB but I think that can be addressed in the draft, same with WR. There's still plenty of good players in FA available in areas where we need depth and the trade market is probably going to open up after the first round of free agency.

They've done good so far. Run it back on D and try plugging holes on O. Still need at least one tackle before we go into the draft imo. The Terron Armstead scenario is looking a bit bleak imo, i think he wants to go back to New Orleans

Raheem Mostert is gonna be like a player-coach in the RB room since he is 100% familiar with the new run scheme that will take the other guys awhile to understand fully.

I've watched slo-mo vid of the 49ers run game from the past few seasons and it's impressive to see everyone make decisive crisp blocks with the RB hitting the hole perfectly. A well-orchestrated dance. Everything happens so fast you have to watch it twice sometimes to try and understand how the RB managed to get such a big gain off a seemingly mundane play.

Go back and watch highlights of the Fins' run blocking in the early '70s...very similar. Ball is hiked, everyone knows their assignment because Shula made them do that play 10,000 times in the heat/humidity of training camp and bam, Csonka just got 15 yards even when the defense was crowding the line expecting a run. It's magical.

Forget being a player-coach, if he stays healthy, he will be a game changer for the Dolphins running game. It is clear he can't handle a full load but give up 10 or so carries a game and he's going to be very productive and break his fair share of 50+ yard runs. SPECIAL SPECIAL acceleration and speed he has and his vision is top notch as well. He's averaging more than 5 YPC, take that to the bank!

Good add fellas, just not sure why you guys didn't Tomlinson. That seemed like the most ideal signing to a poor OL.

I was kind of hoping we'd be making more of a splash with all this cap room...

At least not bring back a bunch of JAGs and eat up all the cap room.  I get that there will be a bunch of cuts and room will be made, but did they really need to take up $11 million in space for Keion Crossen/Sam Eguaveon/Elandon Roberts/Duke Riley?  I get that somebody needs to play on STs, but why pay a premium for that?  Just pick some guys in the 4th and 5th rounds for that and save the money for upgrades.

I have no issue investing in special teams. Packers were brought down by special teams. The investment has been nominal considering. In that same vein why let Hollins walk and keep Preston Williams unless Hollins was getting more from the Raiders.

We are still way under the cap with about 20 million and there is room to create a lot more space through cuts and restructures. I am just thankful we resigned Ogbah before Miller got his deal.

The "premier" available tackles know they are in demand but it is also obvious no one is breaking the bank and signing them at all costs. At least not yet. I have faith the Dolphins are in those discussions.

Dallas losing out on Gregory and Miller definitely hurt us, as they may be less likely to cut ties with Collins who I wanted more than anyone. I would not mind Miami trading for him, RT is Tua's blind side being a lefty and worth the investment.

I'm guessing Hollins just didn't want to play for Miami anymore and I can't say I blame him.  Maybe my favorite player on the roster last season.

I like Mack but it's no real loss considering our receiving depth. Honestly, his presence will be missed on ST most of all.

Bet that coach told Mostert he wanted to bring him in both because he's good and also because he can be an offensive mentor to the young RB's.

Bring forth the 50-yd runs, plz.
