Even without factoring in the dumb 4th down calls by the Bengals, the Bengals still were able to take the clock down to 40 seconds. As good as Mahomes is, that is a lot to ask of an offense to get into FG range with 0 TOs. Chiefs would have been better off if the Bengals scored a TD on 1st. Still a minute and 30ish seconds (if not more) left with 2 timeouts. Ultimately the Bengals tried throwing the game by going for it on 4th down twice. But the Chiefs also misplayed that scenario.
