Like the year he led broke the TD record?

Yes, Brady had 1 year in his entire career where he was truly dominant.ย

But throwing up deep balls for Moss to catch doesn't take much skill. Look at how great Culpepper and Cunningham's numbers were with Moss, and they weren't good QBs. Also racking up stats on teams when up up by 30 in the 4th quarter padded his numbers that year.ย

Other QBs have had much longer dominant stretches, and didn't rely on throwing on team late in blowouts to make their stats look better.ย

I was 11 years old when Tom took his first snap in the NFL. Feels weird that he won't be playing anymore. Obviously, an unprecedentedly lengthy career.

Undeniably one of the greatest of all time. I wish him a happy retirement.

I personally have no reason to like Brady. Iโ€™m glad heโ€™s gone because heโ€™s a good QBโ€ฆbut thatโ€™s it

The NFC is getting turned on its head. Imagine if Rodgers and Wilson leave for 2 AFC teams? You'd have the Rams and no one else next year. Sean Payton stepped away, Brady retired,ย MIN, NYG, CHI are starting new eras... wow.ย

What about Dallas......

And Manning spent his career spamming Harrison and Wayne and then looked like deer in headlights when he had to adapt to more physical play in the playoffs and Rodgers spent his career worrying about his efficiency stats and taking sacks and not throwing the ball away like he should have and playing ultra conservative when he needed to go for the throat.ย

Brady cared about winning first. He didn't mind that he'd get in the redzone and they'd start giving it to Blount because he was automatic when he could have padded his TD numbers for an All Pro or an MVP. If a play was busted and it made more sense to toss the ball away to go for another down than put the whole team in jeopardy to scramble.ย

All Pros are for regular seasons stat guys. It's a pretty unsophisticated metric. Brady did things in the service of his team, and his reward was the win.

Btw just to punctuate this, there's a reason all the same writers who gave other guys All Pros and MVP's over the years looked back on the 2000's and 2010's and said "yeah Brady was the best QB of the decade". When they actually got to look at the totality and the playoffs (which aren't considered in those awards), they found Brady most deserving over his peers. Says a lot if you are going to hype up those awards and then ignore the people giving them out ultimately said Brady was the best in the end when they got to look at everything

Lol NFC QBs if Rodgers ends up in Denver

Crazy scenario. With Ben and Brady retired, Gronk is almost certain to retire. Peterson is very likely to retire. There's an outside chance Rodgers retires. This is going to be an insane HOF class in 5 years
